Generica - [RMVX..?]

I guess I could help with a few miscellaneous things if I have time!

My skills (from the list)
Story (storyboarding, plot)
Character Development/Design (personality, interactions, hopes/beliefs/loves...)
Worldbuilding (history, races, countries, geography...)
Weapon/Equipment Design
Pixel Art (charsets, chipsets, battlechars...)
Pictures/Backgrounds/Title Screens
Web Pages

Pretty much writing and graphic stuff!

Generica - [RMVX..?]

Man if it's a community project I think going old-school can be a waste of talent. If we pool all of our abilities together we could make a game that's pretty incredible on multiple levels- story, graphics, gameplay, etc.

But old-school games would just use crappy rips from old games and they really don't have any sort of storyline other than GO HERE FIGHT THIS GUY.

idk it is a cool idea but seems like wasted potential for a larger team.

Japan Time

To let you guys know if nobody is checking, the recent updates shows more characters' moves including Link's and Pikachu's FINAL SMASH and Wario's and Fox's moves!

Nomic: The Webcomic

I rad the whole archive the other day (I think the link was thrown around in #rm2k and I somehow clicked on it) and I actually liked it. Not necessarily in a LOL THIS IS FUNNY (except the mermaids one was pretty funny!) kind of way but it has a cool charm to the "story" of the whole thing.

Now that we have Abe in the mix, I am excited to see what is in store for the future!

Webcomics!

pixel comic and pbf are the standards if you're looking for good comics that are actually funny and not anime nonsense or generic "lol two roomates who play videogames"

Forum Changes

IT SAYS SO ON HIS AVATAR YOU SILLY GOOSES!!! 8) 8)

Comic project thingy

I actually like the original better- I guess it sortof has that "newspaper comic" feel to its grittiness. The new one looks pretty much like any other webcomic- the lines also might be a bit too blurry. If you were to start an actual webcomic or something, doing it in the style of the first could be pretty unique.

Item carrying restriction

As I see it, restricting players is never a good thing. A player will never WANT to have to choose to throw away an item. Lots of people out there will jump at the idea of limiting items in their game because it's just one more CUSTOM SYSTEM or whatever but honestly it doesn't add to the gameplay- it takes away from it, and quite literally (ohoho).

I'm fine with the reasonable limits- as many item types as you want, 99 or so of each. I mean there's no reason to have 99 anyway, so it's pretty much limitless as it is.

Comic project thingy

She has a pretty sexy tummy!
