Hi!
I enjoy RPGMaker horror/puzzle games the most, but I'd like to give every game that people have put some effort into a chance!
My all-time favorite RPGMaker Games are: Ib, Witch's House and Mad Father, but there are so many good ones out there and many that I haven't played yet (I hope!).
I've recently played Mermaid Swamp, Cloe's Requiem and Dreaming Mary, I can easily recommend all those 3 games to anyone.
I also upload some live commentaries on my youtube channel if you're interested.

Dreaming Mary
I just played through Dreaming Mary yesterday.
I loved the art style. It was so well done and colorful.
The music was great and it was still humming in my head after I went to bed.
The atmosphere was so ... I don't know, disturbing ? In a good way.
The story was interesting. I'm kinda slow at figuring out what's going on in most games though, lol.
The fact the game was 2D surprised me as well, but it fit the game really well.
I expected it to be a bit longer! But you know what they say, quality over quantity. :D It left me wanting more!
I've played through many RPGMaker games and this is definitely one of the better ones out there.
