I am in the same situation as Ghos7Soldier.
Two days trying to sort out this for nothing!

It's a glitch. If you never pick up the key and then do
the chase to the library
the key disappears.

So yeah.

Glad I at least found that out pretty quick then. D=

Even if by accident.

Soo, I had to look here for the password to the computer in the library.
I'm not asking for hand me outs and I'm curious as to how you would stumble upon the answer or come close to it by what's in the game. If all you're given is the memo beside it and nothing else then I would have never figured it out. I couldn't find anything else out and I'm curious as to the method to finding it out. Call me dumb but I honestly did not find any hints as to even get close to the answer.

tl;dr:
How do you figure out the password to the library computer?

The curiosity is killing me. =x You can pm me if you're not wanting to give too much away.
Use the wire cutters to get into the cafeteria and a room on the second floor. Each contain a half of the password.
Ok, I'm worried now.....
I haven't even come across wire cutters, I'm starting to worry that there is something simple I'm missing....
Once you have both batteries, enter the dark room. You'll find a toolbox key in the cabinet. The toolbox is located in the library's storage room. The wire cutters are inside of it.

Yeah, that's what I figured, I have none of these and have no idea where to get it. Either everything is locked or already been through it. I spent a good 10 minutes backtracking everywhere. This literally has to be way too simple that I'm overlooking it. I already went through the stereo.

The only items I have are the letter, beginning of the game, and 1 battery.

EDIT:
So after watching someone, thankfully putting a video up. After the first chase scene and when you hide, he's supposed to drop a desk key......which I skipped right over and the desk key is NOW gone. So as a for warning you might want to make it to where the key doesn't disappear. Looking over my video, it did indeed drop but I didn't see it to pick it up and now that I reached the library it's now gone and I can't pick it up anymore. I am literally at a dead end with no "end".

Just finished it. The game itself was actually good for being what it was but besides that it's nothing out of the ordinary.

The ending, regardless of either, was left with almost nothing. Not going to spoil what either ending is but I will say I was expecting more. Other than that, everything else would be nit-picking for nothing.

Hope you continue to make games. I did enjoy it though.
I'm just glad you played and didn't absolutely hate it XD I never meant this game to be extraordinary or anything, but yeah I feel you about the ending, I definitely won't disagree with you it's sparse. I'm messing around with something in renpy now so hopefully anything else I make will be more dialogue-filled ... in the meantime, thanks so much for your fair comments.

I've played a lot of rpgmaker games ranging from witches house to this. I can safely say yours is better than some of the others I played and a lot more fair than most.

Either way, congrats. Other than that, I did make a lets play of it but if you are in disagreement I can take the videos down.

I actually did a lets play of it and will put it up if that's alright. I thoroughly enjoyed the demo, roughly a 15-30 minute game. I will mention that it is indeed full of grammatical errors from the above mentioned. Even reading it I get flustered over the words when speaking. It's obvious in the video but that's the only real thing I would dock points for. Otherwise, the setting, gameplay, User interface/settings, are really good. The custom sprites and etc. used were very good.

I am looking forward to the full release, I want to hold off on doing any actual reviewing because of the fact that it's only a demo and I can't really feel obliged to do a review for not even half a game.
These are my thoughts, hope you continue to work on the game. =)
Of course it's all right for a let's play, I really want that this game have a good diffusion, it's important for us to have support it give us the strenght to continue the game =) As I said I'm really sorry for the grammar error it's difficult without a real native speaker, fortunally the launch of the demo give us some kind guys that will do the proofreading for the complete release, so we'll work hard to do a game with proper grammar =D
It wasn't on our programs, but maybe if there will be other requests for video, we'll upload even a corrected demo, this is the first time that we have so much video requests so we're not prepared XD
Let me know when your let's play video is out!

Haha it's all good. I was actually working on a barebones rpgmaker game myself but I might scrap the idea since I don't know if it would be good or not. I'm still fresh and I'm using stock sprites with it so it wouldn't be as entertaining. Which is why I said it's a very well made game on your end. The stuff is easy to learn but hard to master. Either way, the video is uploading now and I'll send you a link to it if you'd like to share it or not on is up to you. I don't personally like to advertise too much but I figured my video will give better insight to the grammar errors along with the other users who said the same at the very least.

Whatchu Workin' On? Tell us!

Just started using vx ace. Using bare bone skills and the given utilities so nothing is "fresh" besides the generator.

I've already finished up an event fight scene using the event triggers.
I'm surprised at how smooth it can look once you figure out the right settings.

Also, I'm completely new at this stuff. Thanks to youtube and countless reading, especially from here, I've gotten a lot done.

So far I played through it once. Roughly about 1 hours. Almost 1.5 hours but I'm pretty much a quick reader. It's pretty depressing through and through once you get to I'm guessing one of the routes. I'm assuming there is at least 3 different endings and that's depending on the choices before/after the last bit.

There is a bug though that sometimes you can walk OUT of the normal walking space and just be in the black twilight zone. It's basically when you spawn in a room and just go back "into" the past room and it won't register.

This can also cause a huge upset during one of the final upsets as well. I accidentally found this. Luckily, save points abound so I'm not sure it would be a huge issues but it's still there.

It's a very wonderful game. I would love to see his side of the story unfold. =)
Thanks so much for the information! Do you remember at exactly what point the bug happened? If not, I could always go back and run through it.
I'm so happy you enjoyed the game! Thanks for the feedback.

It's roughly just about anywhere "inside" buildings for the most part. I know for a fact you can do it in the kitchen in toby's house and a couple other spots. It's more or less when you "spawn" in the door you can walk out.
