Trolls 101: how to discourage their trollotry

To discourage a troll's presence requires a firm understanding of why exactly they are here in the first place. The #1 goal of a troll is to gain attention.

How to NOT deal with trolls:Become emotionally invested in anything they say, no matter how stupid.
Correcting their spelling.
Victimizing them.
Allowing them to be "martyrs"
Pointing out the false or inflammatory statements they make
Reasoning with them.
Being helpful and kind
Being angry
Calling them on their trollotry, even when showing support for a member that has been harrased (let the mods handle individual hateful harasments)

The fact that you acknowledge the trolls means they win, So you fell into the trap, How is it down there?

but you just have to believe that other people are intelligent enough to notice it as well without your pointing it out. You can't even Ban them - they'll just make a new profile and the whole process will start over again.

How to be rid of trolls (at least on the forums):-Completely Ignore them.

I have yet to see this work, Humans are such predictable creachers, saying and doing it are two completely different things

-Never respond to any posts, threads, or private messages from someone you suspect of being a troll.

-Talk around them, ex) instead of just posting after them if they make a stupid post, quote the one before theirs and continue the conversation as if the troll post never happened.

-Do not talk about the suspected troll in any publicly viewable area. Act as though they does not exist and is that they are not extremely annoying.

Since banning trolls is ineffective, trolls must become bored of being in a place. If all they are doing is making posts that don't get any attention, they're eventually get bored, and move to a new site.

Only babby trolls get board, Vet trolls stick to their goals

So they have Zhou Tai's moveset in now? Haven't played that in a while, do you know if Yue Ying's weaponry has been put in yet?

I think japan has her spear set, not sure if we do (hell japan has mountable Elephant Lieutenants, how they fit into your house i don't know)

just picked up my copy of the game (Finally found some free time) I just got to the eve levels, the story mode is so more satisfying and epic then LBP 1
