Partially. I understand some of both, but not all of either.

How many digits is in a byte. Tohsaka Rin really has a nice coat, but I perfer green. I closed my eyes and my mind was in the sky.

That is what I'm thinking about right now.

My first game was called Tanka Zwiete Existenz. It was a rather strange strategy game, simular to Dungeon keeper, with a over ambitous demon lord summoning demons to slay the champions of the land. It featured a basic sleeping/feeding/training cycle where you would stregnthn the demons day by day to make them withstand hero assualts.

Note this: It was deeply flawed as I did not understand how random variables worked and sometimes you would have demons that would just sleep, and sometimes a lvl 50 hero would kill every one as they slept.

The turn based game is not dead yet!
It just depends if you are buying localized games or not, as many games being released in japan are still turn-based. Most of the doujin gaming community still pumps out un-offical turn based games every time.
Rather, The lack of strategy and need of any thought is ruining the players.

I was irritated with the last project I made, so now I'm making a atari-esque sprited (This means only one direction.) rpg with custom graphics (Black fields of Doom) and simplefied class system in rm2k. It is a simple dungeon crawl where you explore a tower owned by the Hacker CODX who stands against the creator. You are a poor gaming geek who has been digitzed and controlled by the creator's whims.
