you should think about adding shadows the the monsters that dont have them, or remove them from the ones that do. you have some inconsistency there and it bugs me ... no pun intended... or was there?

Ive played last remnant, and yes the function will be a lot like that, however if your timing is godly you can gain a lot more than just 1 attack. as for shadow hearts, I've never played that, and can't speak for how my system compares to that one. What I can say, is, due to the fact that you can gain many extra attacks if your good, it will cause you to gamble between using spells for guaranteed damage, or to trust your skills to get you the combos you need. (((I have also included an system that keeps track of your chains and total damage, so you can easily keep track of which options do more damage. for example, if you suck at your chains, and cant break 300 or 400 damage, it might be a better option to use your spells))).

Huge battle system update. A new timing feature has been implemented.

A meter is displayed and if you press the button at the right time, you are given an extra melee attack, the meter speeds up after a success, making a third, and fourth success harder and harder. Getting good at this is essential to defeating foes.
