I think it's a viable option, although you would inevitably have less participants and the whole thing would take longer to do.

Why believe in a falseness? What if there was a truth? This is the goal of WikiLeaks. Support it.
Because the only purpose of wikileaks is to publish leaks sent to them, not to go out of their way to prove things already known to be true true twice over. They have never been an organization about uncovering anything.
