Nevermind, I found it on one of my old flashdrives. I knew I still had it somewhere.

[2k3] Is there a way to track which hero is in which party slot?

That might work, but that would be the clunky way. Isn't there an easier way to pull it off?

[2k3] Is there a way to track which hero is in which party slot?

So, according to that, it would be like this:

Heroes:

001-Alex
002-Brian
003-Zack
004-Arshes

Variables:

001-Hero1 (Value 1)
002-Hero2 (Value 2)
003-Hero3 (Value 3)
004-Hero4 (Value 4)

But still, how would I use this to check who is in which slot? I don't know when the player is going to change order, so merely setting Hero2 to value 3 is not enough.

Hello,

Is there a way to track which hero (or which hero ID) is in which party slot?

For example, if I have Alex, Brian, Zack, and Arshes, and I change the order ingame to Alex, Zack, Brian, Arshes. Is there a way to know when Brian is in slot 2 and when he's in slot 3?

Does anyone still have Rusty's Caterpillar System

I heard Rusty's was really good, but I've never seen it. I would like to one day.

The "tutorial" still exists here, but unfortunately most of the information was apparently in the sample, of which all links to are dead. I doubt it still exists online.

Need help with a slot machine.

Well, here it is then, hope it's useful:

No, but your version is actually pretty good. It wasn't too difficult to figure out how to add more characters behind the hero, now all I need to figure out is how to easily change party order.

Add / Remove Party Member Stored in Variable

Hello,

I'm trying to set something up so that if you press shift button, the order of the party changes. There's three party members, and pressing shift changes the order.

Example:

Burns > Albert > Zack (initial order)
(Shift is pressed)
Zack > Burns > Albert
(Shift is pressed)
Albert > Zack > Burns
(Back to initial order when shift is pressed)

Now this wouldn't be much of a problem if these were the only party members, but I'm trying to make this dynamic so it works for any party. Basically when you press shift, the guy in the front goes to the back and the other two move up a notch.

I thought the event command "Add / Remove Party Member Stored in Variable" might be useful in this process, but I've never used it and I wonder how it works. How do you "store" the ID of a character in a variable?

Some elaboration would be nice.

Does anyone have a game called "Legendary Adventure"? It was created by BilliumW.

It was an RTP game made in Rm2k, with a pretty cliché story but it was pretty funny. The main characters I think were called Alex, Lenna, Mervon, Arkon, and the bad guy was Xenon.

Nevermind.
