Demon summoning incantations

That's actually pretty good. I think I'll be using that as well.

I need help making a worldmap.

I would appreciate that very much *puppy eyes*

Most loved most hated RM games

Well I can't really say I hate any RPG Maker game I ever played, so I'll just stick with the faves.

Faves

- cRaZy_gUy's Journey

(My most favorite RM game, the humor is great, it has some crossovers, lots of custom sprites, awesome plot, awesome characters, and three different ways of battling.)

- Final Fallacy
(Completely RTP, most people would say it's average, but I really loved the humor and the characters and the plot. Also the RTP especially fit this game perfectly.)

- Legend of the Philosopher's Stone

(Loved the story of how a couple of high-school kids ended up in a completely strange world. Also custom menu, custom battle system, very cool mapping. Was this ever finished?)

- The Most Stupidest Game Ever
(Awesome game, awesome humor, catching people in Pokeballs, fighting Papa Smurf... This game got it all.)

- Legendary Adventure

(Not a very special game, average mapping, cliche plot, the characters were so-so... But this is one of the first RPG Maker games I played and the nostalgia factor makes it a favorite for me.)

- Legion Saga
(Don't think I ever finished it, but definitely a good game. I thought the plot was kind of forced, but still.)

- Super RTP Adventure
(Typical RTP-comedy based game, pretty random and pretty awesome, some cool minigames, just a cool game to play every now and then, inspired by I think Yellow Protector of the Sun, which brings me to...)

- Yellow Protector of the Sun
(One of the most random games I ever played. It was so damn random that I loved it. It's like this game is a pioneer for any comedy based RPG Maker game ever.)

- Pokemon: The Evil Inside 1 & 2
(Killing off Pokemon with various types of firearms... How can it not be fun? In the second game there's even a first-person-shooter Ho-Oh boss, that was so awesome. And created by a dutch guy, Colt. Yay, go dutch people!)

- Rm2kemon
(RPG Maker Pokemon parody, what else can be said... This game was just awesome.)

- Barkley: Shut Up and Jam Gaiden
(Created in Game Maker, but still... What can I really say, this game rocks.)

Well, I think that's all of them.

Ye Olde Ancient Screenshots Topique

Actually, that Cloud sprite looks an awful lot like one I've seen for Card Sagas Wars or whatever. And that in turn looks like it's going to be a pretty sweet game (provided it ever gets released) so good job on that.

Wait is that what you did for Hero's Realm? Because honestly all I can do is stare at that world map and think to myself, "How the hell does a guy come up with this stuff".

Need HELP Retaining Stats From 1 Character To Another

I know right I spent like 10 minutes correcting his post in my quote.

...Yeah I'm bored

I need help making a worldmap.

Yeah me neither. Usually I just make a random world map and try to come up with reasons to travel it all over.

I need help making a worldmap.

Chrono Trigger's world map was pretty small, but to be honest it never gave the feeling of traversing a world, more like a small part of the world. I don't want that. And yes I do have battles on the world map.

As for drawing it on paper, it's a good idea but the thing is I will come up with shapes that can't be realized using the RTP. Which is why I thought it was easier to do in the editor immediately.

I need help making a worldmap.

Actually I don't have such a thing yet, just a basic idea for the story and the characters. But now that you mention that it does make sense.

Need HELP Retaining Stats From 1 Character To Another

The reason I'm changing the character is, he becomes a dragon form with different skills, and it was a lot easier to make different characters with different skills and switch them out via battle event.

Hero uses the Transform command, change party members, remove Hero and add Dragon.
Page 2: Dragon uses the Revert command, change party members, remove Dragon and add Hero.

Both revert and transform are linked to the battle event, so transformation is instant.

Also if the battle ends while in dragon form the experience does not carry over to the main hero, because I use a parallel common event to revert back after battle, so you're not stuck in dragon form on the world map.

And I'm having trouble with that so I hope that explains my malfunction a little better

Alright, well instead of actually changing the character, can't you just remove all the Hero's skills and add the Dragon skills?

I mean I don't think you can keep track of EXP gained in battle and carry it over to another character.
