[BattleChar] RTP Spritesize battlechars?

No, I mean their battlesprites. Like the BattleChars that come with the Rm2k3 RTP, except I want them created from their charactersets. So that means an idle pose, using ability, damaged, confused, etc

RPG 2k3 message problems

Try the David or Goliath patch, it's in the helpful things sticky. What it basically does is give you much more space in each window, it doesn't change anything but interface so you don't need to worry.

And what it also does is show a vertical line running down the Enter Message field showing where the text will end if you use a faceset. If you do not use a faceset you can fill in each line from beginning to end.

Seeing as the original set of Roco facesets are a damned rarity these days, here's my collection which I also believe are the original, high quality image files except for one (RocoFaces-gallery.png, which I found through Google and looks somewhat discolored).

Also a bit of history trivia for any young RMVX nublets that might be reading this post:
These facesets, made by an artist named Roco, were the RM2K(3) age equivalent of Kaduki facesets that are popular and widely used today. Roco's facesets were used in countless RM2K(3) games and were outright one of the cornerstones of RM facesets as we know them. What you see before you is a piece of RM history that you should cherish and respect.

God, thank you for this. I have been looking for ages for those RTP expressions, I had already given up hope.

Unfortunately, that's not quite all of them. The RTP Mage-guy (blue long hair and black hat) also definitely had expressions, at one point I owned that one, but I lost it sometime unfortunately.

I guess the rest of them are truly gone for good, it's a damned shame. Rm2k3's RTP faces don't even compare to Roco's.

[BattleChar] RTP Spritesize battlechars?

Does anyone know if there are battlechars for the RTP heroes using edited charactersets as base?

I specifically need "Man5" (the guy with black robe and blue hair covering half his face), but all are welcome.

Jays Journey

Okay this game is so fucking bad. The story is not even that bad, nor are the characters, the graphics are fine and the gameplay is bearable. But what the fuck is it with this game and its directions? It NEVER gives you any clues where to go next or what to do. I've been stuck a thousand times in this game already, for example this part after the Leona segment with that demon lord guy. You're told you need to go to Cliffside, and when you get there, absolutely NOTHING.

Countless of times I found myself opening the project in Rm2k to check where the hell I needed to go, or using the CTRL button in playtest mode to explore the map and see what I had to do.

This game is fun, but the crappy clues and directions are just a game-breaking killer for me. Shame.

Jays Journey

I'm stuck in the Rm2k game Jay's Journey.

After I get Frost in my party and I go back to that one town, then Puff leaves my party and tells me to go check the chest Frost was at.

Except that chest is locked and I have no idea how to unlock it. The game doesn't give any hints about this either.

How do I move on?

Chrono Alter

I enjoyed this game since it was a Chrono game, but I can't say it was really really fun. The new setting seemed kind of boring and came over more as a story excuse to not have to remake all of the old locations. Some of the maps were pretty bland and straightforward too.

The battles were alright but I missed double and triple techs, and battle difficulty was really unbalanced. For example, when you fight those blue robots with Lucca and Robo, they can deal 500 damage in one hit with a magic attack, which at that moment took away half the health of my characters. Yet the normal monsters in the same dungeon died in one hit. That required some grinding and even then I had to use magic to survive. So yeah you could have balanced this more.

The story became boring for me when Dalton turned into a freaking dragon, but it already annoyed me before. I can't always understand why people make certain choices, and I can't say I like what you made of Dalton.

Well, anyway, I enjoyed it as a tribute to the Chrono series, and it is a complete game after all, one of the few complete Chrono fangames. You did a good job.

Yeah just how did you come up with those names
