Best game you personally don't like.

^^I was also gonna mention Chrono Cross but that game was never good, so it doesn't fit this topic, I guess...?

Best game you personally don't like.

The games that I don't like, aren't good. *feels left out* *exits*

Cheering up a friend who is really down.

Unfortunately, telepathy isn't real so you can't get into their head without them letting you in. If you really care, the only thing you can do is be there for them. They may say "I just need some space" but that's bull. Most people that say that they want to be alone, say so because they feel that they *deserve* to be alone. Even if you don't do anything, just be there. Sit there in silence, if need be. That wall will come down, eventually.

I know this is kinda weird for me to say, considering the fact that I'm working on a doctorate in Psych but most people don't even need therapy: they just need a real friend. Unfortunately, most people these days don't even know what a real friend is, so they have to pay for someone to listen to them.

To me the key in FFT's story was about the two main characters and the ways they reacted to the evil in the world, and the results of their two ways. It was about good and evil and what those concepts mean. It's not entirely original, but (even with the shit translation) it was done very well.

Yeah, I left that part out. Ramza's family turning on him and his abandoning his name and heritage at the end, Delita playing the role of the poor guy that becomes a heroic King but not being heroic at all behind the scenes.

I don't really understand the love for FFT. The plot always confused me when I returned to the game from long breaks "oh who was this guy?" "who's that guy?" "um I dont remember this dude" "what the hell is going on?" would always be on my mind. The game overall was okay, there was just a lot of little annoying mechanics that frustrate me though

I'll put it in real world terms. Let's say Christianity is the dominant religion. Jesus is revered as a child of god, etc etc. The church is in charge, blah blah blah. You eventually find out, through the Germonik Scriptures, that Jesus(St. Ajora) wasn't a child of god but was actually a really, really bad person who founded his own religion to further his own ambitions(L. Ron Hubbard?.) The church knows the truth but allows the public to believe the lie to keep them under control. That's pretty much the gist of the story.

I don't know about others but my personal reason for having FF7 high on the FF list is because of Aerith's death(come on, it's been 15 years. If this is a spoiler to you, you're uh...something that sucks.) I was barely a teen at the time so a death like that hit me hard. Didn't see it coming at all. I even deleted the save file and started the game over thinking I had did something wrong only to reach the same outcome. Sadness.

Got to disagree with the OP. Jade Curtiss isn't even the best Tales character ever. Yuri in ToV's got him beat. Bad.

I haven't played that one, yet.

^^Obvious baiting. I won't fall for it. I won't.

Well, I guess it's funny if you've been around lots of gay people. In my previous profession, I was surrounded by gays so I get the reference.

I.e. - A game where the heroes are strong women that gain different abilities by changing outfits = gay, gay, gay.
