Rosa isn't so much "bad" as she is dated. I'm sure back then she was considered to be an original and strong heroine (pfffffft).

Rydia on the other hand, has aged really well! She's probably the sole reason I rate FF4 so highly.

You're actually right. That's probably why she wasn't rated so high on the FF4 rerelease, disappointing the artists that put so much effort into her look. Back then, you *wanted* to save the helpless damsel...these days, you wouldn't even waste the effort trying to rescue her.

Of course some people will never support Obama because he is black.

However, some people will always support Obama precisely because he is black.

Despite this, you only ever hear about the former, resulting in "He is such a victim!" syndrome amongst his supporters. He is the President of the United States, how much of an adverse effect as his race really had on his career?

Personally, I don't think his standing is changed as a result of his race (in either direction). I suspect that most of this "Tea Party Movement" dislike him because they think he is a Communist, not because he is black.

I'm sorry...where exactly do you see this "he is such a victim" syndrome? I'm curious to know what the symptoms are, if you don't mind obliging.

My good sir...I can't possibly speak and judge on the state of affairs in britain from my nice, cozy condo here in florida, so please try to understand that people inside of a situation just might know a bit more than you do. It seems to be very hard for people to say "I don't know" these days. It doesn't make you stupid.

If you lived here, then you might understand how lifelong democrats that were poised to vote that way suddenly changed their minds when Hilary lost the primary.

The reason why people KNOW that communism isn't the real reason is because most of the tea party movement can't even spell communism, much less know what it means.

This video is pretty long but watch the first 1 or 2 minutes, and you just might understand a bit more about how things work in the good old usa.

A black president just doesn't sit right with a lot of people...people who spent their entire lives thinking that they weren't bigots or racists. Reality became a bit too much.
