Yeah, that's probably the worst "fail" image I've seen by far, if you're trying to say that the guy in the front isn't who it's talking about. Are you trying to say that the guy with all the people around him is cool or something, because he looks like a much bigger douchebag than the guy in the back.

Hero's Realm's early FF rips turn me off horriblyâ€"if it's anything like the title and the graphics hint at, it's the kind of old-school game wher you just walk around and kill monsters.

Are you not understanding this? Using a sprite/face clearly modelled after a brown person and calling them black, because, you know, the world revolves around black and white people and no one else? Is this not potentially offensive?
EDIT: I just downloaded TTHW and checked out Fayette's graphics and she looks more brown than black dude. (again, short-hand here)

Where I come from, we don't separate middle eastern from black. We're all black...otherwise, my father would be considered brown(he's egyptian, in case you can't tell from my game.)

I'm black...but my natural hair color is red(I'm also mixed with a bunch of other stuff but none of that really matters...)
My father is black but he has crystal blue eyes...yes, it happens...step away from the computers and walk around the neighborhood or something...
EDIT: and ROFL at people telling Iish *his characters* aren't black. I suppose if he had Vance impregnate Fayette and then dump her in Somerset by herself, there'd be no doubt in their minds...

Well, this has nothing to do with race, but what I thought was interesting in FFX is that Yuna has heterochromatic eyes. You don't see that too often without there being a story behind it.
There's a story behind it...
Al Bhed have weird designs to their eyes and Yuna's mother was an Al Bhed, so Yuna's eyes are half Al Bhed/half normal...
