Frankly, I'm all for eyecandy . For guys and girls. I don't want my game women to be realistic for the same reason I don't like "realistic" games: I have to live in the real world everyday and it's boring; A cups are far too common, I can't run at light speed and the last time I ate shrooms... well, I'd like to stop short of self incrimination. let the fan-girls have their long haired guy-girls, and let me have my disproportionate skanks. ahem. In moderation of-course.
maybe as a guy I'm just blind to how much this "supposedly" annoys female gamers. Or maybe I just run into too many anime fan-girls who complain about it, but when I look at their sketchpad it's nothing but yaoi. (sp?) Who knows.
I don't think we'd really be having these types of discussions if people learned to safely distance themselves from fiction. When you do that , it aint so bad.

He didn't mean he thinks homosexuality is wrong, I'm pretty sure. He meant that homosexuals are often faced with having to defend themselves against the idea that homosexuality is wrong. I'll fix it for him:

Well we get a lot of people who would be considered outcasts in a sexual aspect, talking more about being sexually objectified. Because if they don't get people acting any such way towards them, they cry. Again, it can be wrong, but most of the reasons they do it, is to get even.
That's also the reason why you a lot of gay men online that jump on the feminism bandwagon. Not that that's the case here. I just noticed it a lot...especially with an old friend of mine who couldn't deal with the fact that everyone knew he was gay before he did, lol.

Anyway, games aren't for us(gamers) anymore. It's for the mindless, soulless, public. That's why you get games like FFXIII which was equivalent to traveling down a waterslide until you reach the end. That's what the people want and that's what they pay for.
A terrible Final Fantasy will sell at LEAST 3 times as much as a game that we would all consider to be "good" by our standards. This is what it's like when people grow old and realize that their world is gone and the children are f******...only we're not old, yet.
