I followed along what was said here and on a guide. I did begin from the begining step by step with Kappa. I even checked out ahead incase I did get it with out knowing, and nothing.
I left the game temporary to try other games here on the site, went back to this game today when I got off of work and I was able to get it. From the last time I did had to reboot my pc for an update, I don't think it was that but I was able to continue Kappa side quest.

Q&A & Help
I am following the guide for Kappa's sidequest but when I check the bookcase with Kappa as told and nothing happens. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I cannot find anything in your downloads or in your game directory that fix the font. I can read like a couple words but not everything. A little help please.

I found where the Reapers are and got the star dust I need. I have the life shard and the gold armor to be forge the encrusted but the forger in Dawnmarch says I do not have the proper materials.

As for Kokkol's house, you first need to go to the Tomb of Takka and defeat Gilgamesh. After you have killed him, check behind the crypt to find a hidden switch that makes a chest appear. In the chest is the Letter To Kokkol. Return to his house and give it to him. He will now need the Moon Rock, which is accessible in the final dungeon, the Lucidgrove Abyss. From the entrance, it is located far down the southwest path, towards the end of it. After you get it, return to Kokkol and give that to him, and in return, he will give you the Lionheart Sword.
As for the Star Dust, I checked the list of enemies and drops, and it says that the only enemies that drop it are Imps, Reapers, and Tomb Thumbs, and I can't remember where they are located. Though, that list is from a very old version of FFBP, so there may have been new enemies added later on that drop Star Dust. I can't remember how good the "Encrusted" is, so I can't comment on the worth of the effort.
