I have literally never been astounded by how nice an RM screen looked before. Like that looks better than a SNES game. So you make your decision. :)
Also I believe he's saying that it's very very overused. I personally think it's how well it's used, not how much it's used. I also think people exaggerate this, and don't understand that it's hard to make custom graphics that look nice and work well, AND finish a game doing that.

Thats a nice monster you have there. Nice system also.
Plus nice custom work, and my favorite type of color palette- pale, but not too pale.

I had a dream where me and a bunch of other guys were watching a T-Rex from across a river. Thats all I got from this year.
Although when I was younger (say about 6) I had a dream that the alphabet was killing me with guns. That's the weirdest dream I've experienced.

Those are beautiful... And I see I've inspired others to stack some metal plates on their otherwise uninteresting floors. I approve! :D That really does look great, I can't wait to see more of this area. This is from Neo Lescia, right?

Yep, from Neo Lescia. And yes, you did inspire me to make the floors more 'overlayish'. I was actually unhappy with the messagebox, but I can't really do much more, plus I don't want to keep screwing around with it, since it's good enough.

Yeah developers hide things on the disc all the time now. I think its bullshit to be honest, if it's an unlockable, let us unlock it during play.
On the note of this game, I'm not too interested. Although I think every FF game could stand to have a spinoff title containing more of the story. Problem is I never liked FF4, and I sold my Wii.
Speaking of hiding things on the disc, I wonder if anyone has found a way to 'crack' that stuff yet?
