Summer Screenshot Spectacular!

FUCK that is beautiful. Thats easily my favorite thing from you tardis.

The outside shot btw.

I feel stupid for asking this but..

I wouldn't do that if I were you. Not to shit on Manifesto's advice or anything, but having no representation of the characters makes it confusing and impossible to tell who's getting hurt or things like that.

So how are the gams doing?

As I'm making a dungeon crawler, there's a lot of balancing that needs to be done. I'm not really used to the stats that VX offers (considering I can change what they do so easily) so its all based on trial and error.

I'm almost finished with the demo content. After all, it's short, and just a prologue anyways.

I'm taking a break now, so I don't get sick of it.

In 2k3? Simple! First put your formation like so:

Then make each characters battle graphic a face sprite. They'll end up getting lined up next to the small window that was cut out of the backdrop. Get front view monsters, and thats pretty much it.

Thats how I did it anyways.

It does look nice. Speaking of that, why is there no floor? Just grass and dirt. And water.

Your screen isn't showing up for me cilence. A shame, since it's custom, I'd love to see it.

Idea for a new Community Project

Actually, I think it would be fun to let the RPG Makers have cards as well. Maybe set a structure up for submissions, where the person submitting gets:

A card of themselves (attributes based on the way that person acts on the forums)
A card of a hero from their game.
A card of the villain.
A land card (If we end up implementing this)
And an effect card based on an event in the game.

I do get what GOG is saying, and it would definitely be much more fun if we could play online with each other once its done.

IE lets not make this like Monopolo. No offense to S4D of course.

Okay, lets say we split it into a certain number of elements for the cards. We could adapt something similar to Yu-Gi-Oh, and make it so you can't place a higher leveled monster on the field until a certain number of lower leveled ones are there. But lets not sacrifice them like Yu-Gi-Oh. I'm sure someone will come up with something better, but thats my two cents for an idea.

As I said we should get a competent scripter for that job.

I gues for acceptance, just look at the rest of the 'deck' we've built, and see if it fits in. Also obv don't make it excessively stupid, or NSFW.

A 'clean' battle formation in RM2K3?

Like so. Thats always worked for me, unless you have some different problem like a glitch. Of course, characters will always spread and condense vertically, thats just the way it works.
