[VX] Armor Elemental Affinities

That sounds great actually, thanks! :)

I'm using OriginalWij's Fire and Ice battle system to simulate the press turn system from SMT, so I want the player to be able to control his party's elemental affinities. I'm not sure if that changes what needs to be done, but I figured it's best to mention it.

[VX] Armor Elemental Affinities

OK, so I've been looking around trying to find a Script that lets me set Elemental Affinities for armor. Not just the "check to resist" system that VX has as default. I mean a script that lets me set A, B, C, D, E, F type resistances for individual equipment.

Is there a script that does this? And if so where can I find it? If not, about how difficult would it be to make such a script? It seems like a simple concept to me, but I know next-to nothing about scripting.

An Exercise in Futility

I'm guessing you're gonna say "itsa joke game blahblahblah" but you can make joke games actually funny with a little effort. Like with Space Funeral.

Nah, using "It's a joke game" as an excuse would be silly, since it's supposed to be obviously a joke game, and therefore using that excuse would be an admission of failure.

My excuse is "It's still in Beta". I'm keeping any suggestions in mind for the next version.

Also, there is an ending. You just need to walk out the door at the bottom the screen. It's just that you get a game over unless you're properly prepared (there are two possible endings and three possible game overs that can occur once you leave the house).

I need to get some "excersize."

Oh....

Well, that's embarrassing....

Shattered System

As written at the top of the page: "A Space Opera themed traditional RPG"

I've had problems before with the text being cut off. I guess I overcompensated.

....

About the text I mean.

[RM2K3] Custom Menu help

Alright, so I'm making a survival horror game, and the default RM2k3 menu just doesn't fit, so I wane out and learned how to make a custom menu. It has four options on it: "Inventory", "Save Game", "Exit Menu", and "Exit Game". So far, so good. Here's the problem:

I don't know how get the "inventory" option to send the player directly to the item screen. The best I can do is send them to the default menu, which I don't want to do. Any help, please?

Tactics Blade - A Trilogy

Good game that suffers from a lack of patch ups.

Gameplay is very solid and reminds me of Fire Emblem. However there are many shortcomings. One bug is that most of the time the text seems to go off the bubble leaving you only knowing half of a sentence.

Another shortcoming is that you cannot use an item on yourself. So if you have no other characters then your healing potions are worthless.

Another shortcoming I noticed was the fact that to use magic you had to buy a 250 gold book and it only had one use...you only gain 10-25 gold an enemy when it first appears.

I don't know if these have been fixed in the second game but those are some issues in the first one.

However it's a well balanced game besides a few things like that. No errors while playing or imbalanced combat.

The second game fixes the magic thing, but I never thought to fix the item thing.

During play-tests I never noticed any problems with the text bubbles. I'll have to look into that.

Thanks for your review!

Some screenshots of an actual battle would be nice, you know.

Unfortunately, all the screenshots I've taken have come up as black screens.

Tactics Blade - A Trilogy

Tactics Blade is set in TriRealm, a group of three kingdoms: The Realm of the Earth, the Realm of the Sea, and the Realm of the Sky. The story begins with a famous mercenary named Rose being hired by Regent James of the Realm of the Earth to defeat a rebellion.

What results is a huge war, that threatens to consume all of TriRealm.

This is a trilogy of games made in SimRPG Maker 95. So they're all strategy RPGs. So far, I have completed the first two episodes.
