No, no offense taken, don't worry. I wonder how it lags so much in that parts... As I said, it usually lags when there are big rotating pictures, but I removed most of them. And there is no rotating picture in the intro part... at least not in the raining part.
Unfortunately RPG Maker 2003 sucks at everything because it isn't optimized, so you can have tons of ram and whatsoever but it can keep lagging in some parts. :,(

That's strange. Usually people have lag issues in the parts with "rotating pictures". That's the first time someone says that it freezes during the drinking contest. Have you had lag problems elsewhere?

You're still in chapter 2 (of 13) and it gets better later, I guess... but if you're not invested enough just stop playing.

I do think mismatched pixel density is a bad, bad idea, and I always recommend that people avoid it at all costs, but for some reason I personally think it looks okay when it's just a font, message box, or particle effects. However, I'm sure there are many that disagree and that's totally fine. If you asked me a few years ago, I would have said that you should ALWAYS use an appropriate pixel-font when making a game in this style.

You can play it without RPG Maker and/or RTPs, don't worry!

author=benosHow do you see and keep the extra characters that are supposedly on the list?in the change party menu? I already completed the main game.
You can unlock them in the Extremordeal, if you play in Normal or Hard mode.
It's the endgame dungeon that you can unlock by completing the Treasure Hunt sidequest.
