I still can't believe Ozzy 100% Barbie Explorer for PS1

It is absolutely brutal. It's like the battletoads of 3D platformers.
I never got a recording of it, But if it was a really bad section, he would blow through 5 lives in like 10 seconds.

(especially this last one, omg the game just hoovers your lives like candy - watch carefully,
this isn't the same gif playing 4 times, this is ozzy trying to beat this part 4 times.
)

It was so frustrating to watch. There is absolutely no reason why a game based on a long running toy line should be this brutal.
unless they're getting the parents to play it XD. I still can't believe how punishingly difficult this game is. and it's only like 7 levels.

EDIT: This was a good stream ozzy, i feel like we all grew a little closer after watching this one X'D

EDIT2: I forgot to include the ending. Tomb Raider has nothing on this X'D

I don't remember barbie dolls in stores to have crash bandicoot esthetic.
I’ve never heard of this game before, it actually looks pretty good for a licenced game on the PS1.

I also like how the developers just combined Crash Bandicoot with Tomb Raider and then slapped Barbie’s face on it, lol.
...I've actually looked it up on gamespot and ign, the last sites of that era that would have any sort of information pertaining to this game - NOTHING!
I even tried to look for review scores in old us playstation magazines - ZILCH!

It's insane! this game was like, included on one of the last psone interactive sampler demo discs, well after the PS2 came out, so everyone was probably like playing Jak & Daxter, Final Fantasy X, Ico, GTA3, Silent Hill 2 or Smuggler's Run at that point... But you can't find a review from a legitimate source for this game, anywhere! - if you could, they'd probably point out how really bizarre it is, for a 3D platforming game, based on a longstanding toyline, would be this difficult.

Like, it's crazy how difficult this game is! Like, ok, it's not impossible, but if you were trying to sell a toy, right? why would you even make it this hard? This is not like working designs and their disposal shooter syndrome. It's Barbie.

I don't think Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase was even this hard.

For what it's worth, even the Codetwink page for Barbie Explorer is pretty minimal. Then again, perhaps that code-list is all that is necessary/desirable for that kind of game?
It looks like she's clipping through the platform . . . ignoring that though the game doesn't look too bad.
