What's the stupidest/silliest thing you've purposefully implemented in your game?
Actually I haven't lots of stupid stuff in my games .__.

A really stupid thing was a "feature" i put in my recent project.
The savegames are png files, which shows different pictures of your location and so on.... nothing more... just because I thought it's cool xD (but it's useless ._. )
Depending on that I have a cutscene whre the protagonist and his friend are playing a game. And when the prota dies the friend says in red letters. "You died"
And when you save after that you get a save picture of the dark sign
from Dark Souls xD

[Poll] Images Accompanying Dialogue: Faces or Busts
I prefer simple facesets. It's a shorter way for the eyes than whith busts.
So you don't have to always leave the textbox to see how the character is looking.
Cutscenes like in FF8 are difficult in RM-Games. Because the sprites are really small and doesn't show much.
I prefer to show the name (if known) of a character.
The player can learn the names better with this. And with a seperate namebox it also looks good.

Fantasy is the best setting for me. You have all possibilities and can use them.
When I look for example at Lost Odyssey, there they use magic like we use electricity :D They have immortal protagonists, sad backroundstories and a lot
of other fancy stuff.
I like such. Reallity is boring. Therefore we play games :D

Meta-Mapping
I tried to prepare my maps once, but than I created things which aren't possible with square tiles xD
- So I basicaly start to think about how big my map should be.
- Then I start filling the ground with gras or something and with another tile
I paint some outlines to imagine how it could look like. How building structures
and other things could work.
- And then it's time to add real stuff and make the map \o/
Yeah, somewhat like that. I'm really chaotic xD
