Considering becoming a game developer, any advice?

Of course there's always forming your own company so long as you can find a couple of people who can help you out or work for you, a market to set up shop in, business person(s) who can keep it all together, and money to get started with, then you'll have a chance.

The important thing to remember is that you should "Never Give Up! Never Surrender!"

Japan Time

Yoshi with a saving jump? :o

A potential candidate for the most broken character of the game award.

Let's hope he doesn't win it.

I believe that Yoshi's Island 2 came out sometime last year. As for DK since he is a villain like Bowser you could look at it in three ways. A) The most recent Donkey Kong-ish game was last year's Mario vs. Donkey Kong: March of the Minis, B) The most recent game staring DK was Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat which was released around the years 05-06 (I'm not too sure on this one though), and C) The last Rare DK game was Donkey Kong 64 released back in the late 90's.

Or that under construction building from Donkey Kong. :(

Japan Time

The only storyline I've ever been able to gleam off of the games is the fact that in someone's room/museum tribute to Nintendo some of the little trophies came to life, beat the living snot out of each other, fight a hand that could easily be described as the Master, and then turn back into a trophy before the resident returns.

Japan Time

A thought occurs;
It might be a random enemy found in an area of Adventure Mode (or whatever they're going to call it in this game) just like they had in Melee.

Also a theory if these scenes are from some sort of Adventure Mode instead of the opening. It could possibly be showing us something like the recruitment of a second character for the run through, or then again maybe not.

So...

Does anyone have any idea as to the meaning of this most recent update?

It looks like a part of the intro, but what is in the last picture? A training doll? A Chibi Robo? Or even something else?

Metal Gear Solid series

A friend of mine let me play through MGS1 for a day. After that I've been mildly pleased with the series. I haven't shown fanatical devotion yet, but I now own copies of the NES version of the original and Solid's 2 & 3.

Unfortunately that doesn't include MPO so no name for you. :/

Called from the start!

So you think you're bad enough dude to call that? Were you bad enough to call Giga Bowser as well? Or how about calling both at the same time?

Didn't think so.

Come talk to me after you save the president. Then you can have that cheeseburger.

Japan Time

It's better than having to rely on a pallet swap of Mario.

I'm even happier that for the Lylat Cruise Stage they using a song from the original StarFox's soundtrack (in my opinion the best in the series) rather than from one of the later games.
