Under-Rated Games People Should Play
Okay, NOW I get what it means. Indie games that don't do a thing different from predecessors and are carbon copies of slightly more popular games anyway.
Now to convince my friend to get me Space Channel 5 Part 2 from Steam (being broke sucks).

While that is a nice picture of what I presume to be cavestory or something similar, that doesn't answer my question.
And yeah, Space Channel 5 is an awesome game. Shame my erm...friend doesn't see it the same way.

What are you thinking about right now?
Trust me, I was not offended. You obviously would've reacted differently had you known the actual situation.
I myself was diagnosed high-functioning, though I was more a handful as a child than I am now (potentially.) However, I'm second youngest in my family, sister being youngest. And while I would love to stop promoting her sleeping habit, it's challenging to say the least...and parents, well...that situation isn't the hottest either.
Best case I can go with right now is keeping her up right now until night, then get her up early in the morning repeatedly until she learns.

author=SorceressKyrstyOh the 'fun' of seeing people unaware of the down-trodden kids taking care of their downsyndrome siblings.author=MKID232Making her get her bitch-ass back into bed and stay there: priceless.
Staying up all night to play video games: Fun.
Staying up all night to watch your sister because she got up in the middle of the night because her sleep schedule is out of whack for the past few years and you yourself only got 4 hours of sleep: No comment...
I assume your sister is between 2-5, because if she is older you're whipped.
wh-CH!
(Not mad at you, just flipping exhausted.)

Wreck it Ralph - new Disney movie! ...about a video-game character?
I probably won't be around when it releases, on account of being dead from excitement and hype and all. I mean, good lord it looks awesome!
Averting level grinding
The only game I truly recall in the mainstream that had something like this was Legend Of Dragoon. The most you used regular encounters was to train battle stance level and dragoon level. It was very rare to gain levels through regular fights past the first couple hours of the game, and even rarer to get good money. The most expensive thing (and the best thing in the game, debatably) was a piece of armor that cost 10,000 gold. Yeah, you really didn't earn much gold in the game.
That said, it worked enough for it, but you would really have to reward your players for grinding, rather than punishing them.

Games that nobody remember?
There was a demo of an old PS2 game that I remember playing called Haven: Call of the King.
Pretty sure that faded into obscurity.

Borderland Game Journal thing with Siren,
Next part is ready to go.
Today was one of the longest and hardest days I have ever had in my entire life.
So my space shuttle got me to the planet of Pandora with, like, nice speed. However, a bit of talking with, like, the people who live in this town told me that the best first step would be a town called Fyrestone or something. And I didn't have a whole lot of money at this point, so I had to, like, go on one of those buses with the old guys. Fortunately there was only, like, 4 other guys here, so I wasn't, like, crowded or anything.
And the company on here was surprisingly interesting. One of the guys was a soldier, who kept, like, a rifle around to keep himself safe. There was a big beefy dude who looked like he could tear the bus in two with his bare hands. The other guy, like, kept to himself mostly, though, petting his bird, who was really super cute.
The creepiest one, though, had to be the bus driver, some really old Russian dude I think. He seemed to know a lot about what I was doing, though, so I couldn't be like, too weirded out, I guess. He was just so creepy like, though, and it left me a little uneasy.
The bus ride to Fyrestone took, like, 3 days, and all the other bus guys left during that. However, all of them, like, told me that they might help me if I get in way over my head. They seemed like nice people, so I hope to see them, like, sometime.
Things got especially weird just before I got to Fyrestone, though, when I got this weird vision thing. A woman in my head started speaking to me, telling me to do things, like meet a robot after I got off the bus. And as soon as I got off the bus, there he was, waiting for me. He led me to the city of Fyrestone, but it was, like, not even that easy because some bandits showed up. The soldier guy, though, had given me a submachine gun just before he got off the bus, and it helped me a lot killing the bandits.
After a while, we managed to get to Fyrestone, and the first thing I noticed was all the graves off to the distance by the gate, and it made me, like, wonder what in the world happened in this town. Definitely didn't help matters when the robot, like, referred to the doctor (Dr. Zed, as he is called) as the 'citizen' of Fyrestone. This town was bare of people, and I was the first one to show up in, like, a long time.
Dr. Zed wasted no time in getting me to work to fix his ruddy medical machine by collecting a part way out past the gates, which the robot was supposed to lead me to. However, the robot got, like, attacked by bandits and after dispatching them, the vision lady appeared and told me to fix him, which I did. Boy was that not easy, there was so much technical junk I couldn't figure out at first, but eventually I got him more or less running. And then he opened the gate for me, and I made my way through these dog-like creatures called Skags, vicious little buggers with mouths that open sideways who happened to be guarding the part I needed to fix the special machine. They take quite the beating, but I managed to kill the pack that was there and get the part that, like, fixed this vendor machine that gave me a shield after I put some money in it, which totally made my trip a lot easier.
Anyways, by the time I was done, it got a lot darker, so I had to call it a night, and here I am. As I said, it was quite a busy day, but I think I am making quite a difference here, even if it is only to a crazy doctor and a robot. Hopefully tomorrow goes, like, okay and I find this vault soon.
