You can give those little stickers to other users. It's just a pointless visual goodie that appears near the upper right corner of a person's profile. The llama is the easier sticker to get, because they hand them out 10 at a time to people for doing nothing special.
Some users will have other stickers, probably like achievements or something. Prizes. I dunno.

Hm... the llamas are something you can give other people as a sort of 'you're awesome'. You can only ever give one per person, though you can purchase other items to give like cake and the like.
After you get a certain amount of llamas it will change from normal llama to another llama - you see a lot of popular artists with ones like Super llama and the like - it's because their llamas levelled up. Kinda like pokemon but not.
