Fear Society 2 Review

Thanks for the recommendation, I will give it a look! I think with a longer format your games might be a lot more enjoyable for me.

In the Shadow of Ganymede Review

I hope you don't get too discouraged by the low score. I think you have great ideas, I just don't feel they were executed in the best way possible in this game. I'm sure if you had more time you could've made it a lot better.

Good luck with your next projects! If you recommend it, I'll give Soulflowers a look.

False Rebirth: Enhanced Edition

Hi! I'd like to point out there is a bug where you can get stuck after shooting the dog. Out of curiosity, I ran up to the dead dog and somehow phased right through to its top-left corner. The game didn't let me hop back out so I had to restart. I used mouse clicks so maybe that was where the issue was.

There's also seems to be another bug in the latter part of the game. I'll hide it due to potential spoilers.

When waking up after losing baby Salik, if I move to the edge of the map I get stuck moving back and forth between the two maps for a few seconds, only being able to leave if I button mash my way out of there.

Great game by the way, I love it!

Thanks a lot for another great review! During the making of this game, I worried excessively about story elements because it feels as if I had too much I wanted to condense. I'm happy to know it was enjoyable and not too confusing. I'm also especially thrilled that you like it enough to play multiple times! When writing visual novels I'm always concerned if I'm boring the players instead of creating immersion.

One thing I want to point out to help you get other endings is that the three meters from top to bottom are Affection, Sanity, and Health. Actions that remind the Protagonist of her boyfriend increase the Affection meter, for instance. Most endings rely on the final values of those variables. Also, the creatures in the underground maze make sound cues when they move around the rooms and that is pretty much the only way to detect if they're in the next room (you might have to wait for a second or two to hear the footsteps).

Sometime next week I'll be updating the game for an assortment of quality improvements plus posting a written guide/walkthrough, considering some endings might be very tricky to reach without hints.
Oook.. but are thenmeters explained anywhere? I do not remember but it is ok.

Oh yes as endings I got Denial and... Regret? Or was it something else? Dunno anyway defeating the final boss was difficult and I still have to figure out the lock puzzle. So yes I will wait for the walkthrough!

The meters were unexplained as I'd hoped the symbols (heart, eye, and the red cross symbol) were enough. The final boss was meant to be tough but congrats on beating him!

I'll prioritize finishing the walkthrough before the updates so that might come out soon, possibly over the weekend.

Fear the Deer :: 2021 Gammak Challenge!

You'd both receive the badge, yes! Reason being that people sometimes use events to double down on getting this one out the way, too, and sometimes a team-up is required in some events. Looking forward to seeing your game and don't forget to post a link to it back to this thread so I know to count it!

I was just checking to make sure, thanks for the explanation! We'l probably get it finished some time near Christmas just so we can call it a Christmas game too lol

Fear the Deer :: 2021 Gammak Challenge!

My friend and I have been thinking of making a deer game before the end of the year but if we were to do that, would we be able to receive the Deer badge for both of us? Or does it have to be a solo game?

Where can I watch the livestream?

It's on Liberty's Twitch ( https://www.twitch.tv/silversatyr ), she hasn't done your game yet. There'll be another stream on Monday I think.

I watched Liberty's livestream, it was great! I'll make time for Monday as well. Since my game hasn't been played yet it might be better to play the latest version which is probably 99.9% free of bugs. I've just now uploaded it, link here:

This is probably too late for Mirak's big review video but I'll still look forward to that!

I submitted mine! I'll work on it some more in case there are missing sound files and all but I think it's good to go.

I hope everyone who didn't get to finish could finish them eventually cuz the screenshots from the midpoint checkup looked great!
