MATTHEWR101'S PROFILE

Hello, I just downloaded the final version of the game and when I launched it, the title screen was missing the the options (new game, load, stuff like that) it was just a black box with nothing in it. I hit the top option and then it took me to a black enter your name screen (I think) with no letters. I really want to play this, and was wondering why this could happen? Am I supposed to download the patch as well?

This is probably a stupid question, but I was wondering after you download the newest patch, if there's anything that needs to be done other than extracting the files? Do you need to move the new files to the game folder?? I usually download games on steam, so I'm new to this.
