My grandfather died yesterday

Hang in there, bro. :)

I don't know, I never met any of my grandfathers, they passed away before I was even born. I only have one grandma on my mother's side, and I love her greatly. I can only imagine what it's like to lose someone that's looked out for you your entire life.

May he rest in peace.

Post your Music

My first two songs, one of which has already been released:

Call of the Forest Don't know, when I listen to this song, makes me feel like in some forest, in the middle of the autumn, with little red leaves dropping from the tall trees.
Twisting Sands Used the Flamenco Style on MAGIX for this. Dunno, I made the first three notes, and when I heard it repeat over and over, I saw a pattern which I started to like. Thus came this song.

[Music] Some feedback on first song :)

Ah, I understand. Yes, it's an oboe. I'll try to fix it, thanks :)
I used MAGiX Music Maker 15, the interface is kind of simple, you could learn it in half a day :)

[Music] Some feedback on first song :)

Um, can you please explain your view of this "vibration"? When does it occur? :)
And thank you for your very kind words :)

[Music] Some feedback on first song :)

Hi ya'll, I recently started practicing out and making my own songs. Today, I made my first song!

I'm posting this for the purpose of feedback and general opinion. If someone wishes to use this song in his/her games, please notify me and credit me in the game.
Otherwise, all rights reserved except when used for the before mentioned reasons.

Call of the Forest

Enjoy! I hope you like it!

Slender.. Some scary shit!

To be honest, Slenderman reminds me of the Dahaka in Prince of Persia : Warrior Within.

Plus, Dahaka could beat his tiny ass any day in the week. So badass.
What's a "serial killer" against the guardian of the timeline?

Anyone out there practicing martial arts?

@KillerWolf - Wow, nice history there. I'm actually only one year in to these "martial arts", but I would love if I could do at least a partition of what you just said about.

Don't know really, maybe it's just me, but somehow I've always had fears about fighting - one of the reasons why I started doing martial arts. Overall, my knowledge of my surroundings and the potential of using them have increased since I started. I just somehow have that fear in the back of my head. I have done some amazing feats for myself (I mean, they are amazing to me) like managing to take down a man that's more stronger than me by wrestling his neck and turning him to a choke-hold.

I also have managed to subdue a rampaging friend (as I said, fighting around is regular in high-school these days) that is faster than me by maintaining him at a distance while using the time to secure a arm-bar, and wrestle him to the ground.

I also have managed to push out a guy that was taunting me, all to his surprise (I personally loved every second I spent looking at his terrified face).

I however tend to laugh off the taunts from more powerful classmates (although, in wrath I could have the capacity to slaughter them all) until I further advance my knowledge of martial arts. I'm only level P1 (*fiveteen ranks of Krav Maga exist, the last two reserved for truly the best of the best | *if I'm right) after all.

Discussion about a philosophical idea...

I also want to say that this isn't my perception of the world, I just thought about the song, and what could it mean in direct or indirect ways.
@Lockez, that's a real nice observation. I'll give a better explanation when I get home(I'm on ma phone).

Discussion about a philosophical idea...

WARNING : The following story may or not upset people with weaker stomachs.

I just had a idea today while listening Meshuggah's New Milenium Cyanide Christ (yes, I'm a metalhead, and no, I'm not a member of a sect).

The song may look like a typical trash metal song, but it actually has a deeper subject (better look up the lyrics on the net if you wish to understand anything)

The point of the song is that a man tries to became savior of Man, the equivalent of Jesus Christ, and to do so, he undergoes various changes (for example changing his bones with bars), but in his quest all he manages to do is to hurt himself, proving the ideology of the song that if the world was to be perfect, Man would have to give up on all of his senses (which the man does - replacing his eyes with fuses - to not see ungodly sights and removing his ears to disable ungodly sounds and fear. He even shuts his mouth with hexagonal bolts - to stop the creator of all violence(i.e speech) - "without words there will be no deceit".

This got me thinking. Can man truly be perfect? If we could somehow control our senses, could we become superior?

This actually has a deeper subject I had a lengthy thought, but I'm so tired, I'm gonna go to sleep, and maybe it'll come back tomorrow.
