As a player, I can understand where you're coming from. However, as a developer, these ideas seem to pop into my head at random intervals. Assuming they come at all. It's because of that "if they come at all" factor that it's not that much of an opportunity cost for me to release updates sooner rather than later. Now, if there was a follow-up suggestion to the scene, or another scene suggestion, I would consider that a good reason to hold back on releasing something.

I imagine this would be quite difficult, as the scene in question isn't implemented in any way, shape, or form! Hell, I don't even know if I even want to put it in!

Are you saying that it's still sitting on your computer and not exposed to the RMN world? If Story Test or just reading the story file must be done, I will do it. @.@

On another note, I'm experimenting with custom backgrounds using the IMAGE command. This scene isn't actually in the Kimura sisters route. It's just a test. There will be rainswept and nighttime backgrounds in the route, though.

Ah, that's just great. Broken limbs are evil. Limbs are necessary in everyday life, we all know that. So if you want to do something with it, it hurts. Blurgh. By 'broke', do you mean cracked/crushed bones, torn muscles, or what? How serious is it?

In any case, get well soon. At least you have the virtual neighborhood. The comforting virtual neighborhood..

Think I should give some details about my characters, namely plans of the story and how much is done & how much I'm writing, among some other things.

The Kimura sisters, Shizuka and Sachiko, are a bit like a child and a mother in their relationship, but they have their own personalities and characteristics as well.

Shizuka is generally lost in thought, with a bored expression on her face, a quiet voice and unresponsiveness. She prefers to keep herself unknown and hide her emotions from the public. Interests include reading, listening to music, playing a violin, traveling around, thinking (obviously), and being with friends.
She's the 'cloaked' introvert, letting few people into her life and rarely speaking her thoughts with anyone but close friends and family.

Sachiko, on the other hand, loves to express herself. She's a hyperactive girl who's almost always grinning and has trouble filtering her thoughts. While she doesn't enjoy being the center of attention, she usually ends up as the life of the party anyway. Interests include listening to music, watching movies or T.V, playing a flute, going to celebrations, hanging out with friends and shopping.
Her sunshine-and-dandelions personality is more of a facade from her real emotions.

Both girls occasionally show minute signs of a depression of sorts, that the <player> tries to uncover. Shizuka is currently the only romanceable girl.

As for progress, I hate to say that almost no progress can be made throughout the school week, despite all my free time. I write scenes rather slowly and generally feel unmotivated, so maybe 2 or 3 scenes a week will be written. Thoughts of how to progress the story are going on at all times, though, and I already have an idea of the events noted down somewhere.

All I need to do is turn these ideas into actual, readable, enjoyable stories. I hope I'm able to write a story for my girls that you all can play eventually.

Whew. I feel like writing now. :D

After a sudden drop of Shizuka's story, and a couple months of 'hiatus', I find that just giving her a sister suddenly makes me want to write again. Here, we have Sachiko Kimura, the hyperactive, slightly competitve and slightly motherly counterpart to Shizuka, who prefers a more casual approach and always has her heads in the clouds.

Woop. Have a screenie. Just letting you all know that progress is being made. That is all.

If it were me, I would change the eye color (since I like the hair a lot), but I also know that's the hardest thing to change of the lot.

Edit: I'm not fond of that Dozen tachie either. I've never been a big fan of huge moe-type eyes.

It's very easy to change the color, but it does require some testing to see which color goes with the others well. Hmm... how about this?

The two things I dislike about that tachie is how her eyes look so radically different from the others, and they almost look drained of color.

Maybe I spoke too soon. Now that I really look at this, and maybe I'm comparing this character with Izumi's tachie too much, the space by the left side of the neck looks like there should be something there.

*Edit: I don't really think there's that many colors going on, here.

You're right. For some reason, both of the other back braids have some hair in that space that makes it look more like an actual braid. But I dun wanna go through all the tachie and fix that right now. Especially since the hair color was obtained through lots of burning/saturating in Photoshop, and it might be hard to get the same color again. urgh

But it's gotta happen at some point, so..
