GW doesn't have an obligation to cater to anybody though. If they really want to make these changes, they're entitled to it even if it isn't in the best interests of the G&D sub-community.
Of course they're entitled to do it, since they've expressed such resentment I've actually encouraged them to. However, personally; I don't appreciate their demeanor.
Their goal is not one I disagree with, a higher standard of acceptance and game creation; however the way they go about this is something I strongly disagree with.
So are they completely banning the use of RPG maker, or are they just ditching game making in general? If they are going for the latter than yeah... Good luck to them. ::)

Has GTA IV cured the problem with all the other GTAs I've played, where you play for about an hour, having plenty of fun stealing things and being bad and all, but then never really feel like playing again because there's too much to do but no real encouragement to do any of it? Because if not, I don't see how it can be the best game ever. I mean if that's the case, I don't even see how it can be a much better game than Dead Rising, which is exactly the same situation but at least there are zombies.
By the way, this isn't supposed to be an inflammatory question(perhaps it's meant to tease a little, but not actually anger, y'dig?), I earnestly want to know if GTA IV addresses that situation, or if it's squarely aimed at people who got more than an hour's enjoyment out of its predecessors.
Well, there are some extras that have incentive. For example, developing better friendships via optional excursions will yield certain gameplay advantages, like free taxi services or weapon delivery. There's some annoying skanque that you meet at the beginning of the game that you can date, but I'm not really sure what extra thing you get from here.
Many aspects of the game's flow have been improved. I simply love the new auto save; and the fact that you don't lose all your weapons upon dying anymore. Meaning you can go nuts, and get into trouble without worrying whether or not you've saved prior.

Uh. What the hell? I think GW is a great community.
I liked it too, I liked it when I first arrived there a few years ago; but somewhere alone the line some of the staff felt the need to turn into controlling, condescending douche bags.
I still like a great deal of the people who go there (which is why I've stayed with it) but every time I watch some staffers (whether they have this power or not) post it just makes the bile rise in my throat.
[Final Demo] Dragon Fantasy II
The berserker class is in a constant state of berserk? That's seems a bit odd; doesn't it?
I've had plans to make a berserker character, wouldn't it be much better to have like, say a command that invokes berserk, so the player can pick and choose when he wants to sacrifice control over survivability?

Also, don't forget to change it back to normal after you're special event is done. Copy and paste the default command at the end of your script in case you forget.

I am completely addicted to this game, stayed up until 5am playing the single player, and I haven't even touched multiplayer yet.
Niko, probably the best protagonist character I've seen in a commercial game in a long time really just... It's difficult to explain, but it's a far cry from the silent complacent protagonists of the earlier games. (Not that CJ was silent, or even a bad main character)
My favorite satire so far as been that rapper idiot who gets you to "clean the streets".
But there's so much more to it, I'd go into more detail, but I need to go back and play it some more.
