Global Warming (again with the contraversy...)

The question was, are they not doing too hot because of emission regulations, so I feel it still works as an example. Perhaps it is instead the fault of the gays?
Whoa, where the hell did that come from? Calm down, bud; it seems like you're taking this personally. And what do gays have to do with any of what has been said up to this point?
First, taxing is way to produce money. In this specific example, the money is aimed at funding a problem. Ergo, the tax money is being thrown at the problem.
Next, businesses have gone bankrupt due to over-regulation. I am not talking about a specific regulation or a specific business, but it happens, and usually to the smaller upstart companies that may have some good ideas.

Wow... I think people are more passionate here than the religion conversation
in the global warming is to divert people's attention from their daily life problems, i.e. politics.
True, I never thought of that...
Global Warming (again with the contraversy...)
Wow... I think people are more passionate here than the religion conversation. Who'd have thought?
In terms of "carbon taxing" (or more specifically, carbon credits), it's pretty much a scam. Most of the websites that deal in carbon credits are made in people's basements, usually by a single person. For the most part, all they do is collect money from people that feel guilty about how much carbon (or whatever the site seems to be worrying about) into the atmosphere. Al Gore (I'm so glad someone else bashed his ass... now I feel like I can open up a bit) has his own carbon credit site. He actually used it to say "I pay carbon credits! See here? I gave umpteen million dollars to this site!" Fortunately for him, he basically paid himself. Douche...
Maybe "carbon taxing" is a bit different, but I don't see how it could work any better. Yes, imposing regulations can help something grow into something better, but if the regulations kill that something, it only hurts the system as a whole. Plus, you can't fix problems just by throwing money at it.
Also, California is a pretty bad example to use in order to support a claim that things are working, in any area. Last I heard, they're not doing to hot. I don't know what the core cause is, but my point still stands that the state is pretty much broke.

The not to get too off topic, but the final boss in Dhux's Scar is just mean. Even with maxed level (50 in this game) and VERY high stats, it can still mop the floor with you. Instant kills, stat lowering, and status ailments galore... oh, yea, and there are 3 separate pieces! I have tried several times, each with a different approach, and have come up empty handed. Since you can't overlevel, it's all about strategy.
Anyway, I can wait for the final boss sprite. I'd rather wait now, than have a silly update later that spoils the surprise of who it is.

Oh, you guys... pandering for votes... FOR SHAME! I would NEVER ask people to vote for me by spring-boarding off of these shameful comments! Seriously, it's not like I think my submissions ARE TOTALLY THE BEST!!!
So yea... play fair, will ya?

author=kentonaauthor=Oblicwhhhhyyyyyy? I mean, where are you even grinding?
I promise you it'll take me a hell of a lot longer to *complete* than 20 hours. I will get EVERYTHING (at least everything that I possibly can without a guide) before I will say I'm done! Like I said before, I'm still working on maxing out my Hero's Realm save file.
I have a really boring job of babysitting a lab... at night. I only play when I feel like numbing my brain to the point of a near coma to pass the time. I am grinding in the the... place right after Hawk's Nest. It's tedious as hell, but it's strangely satisfying to watch the numbers grow. I am a mutant.
author=UPRCauthor=OblicAnything that has Apocalypse, Fallen One, and Meteo in its attack pattern is probably going to put YOU to shame. :)
You, sir, are indeed evil! But I assure you, I will put this monstrosity to shame!
We shall see... as long as it's not as hard as Dhux's Scar's final boss, I think I'll manage!
Global Warming (again with the contraversy...)
author=Shinanauthor=Oblic60C? Really? A quick googling puts the biggest average temperature difference at around 10C and that's hundreds of millions of years apart. (with the top average temperature at 8C)
It is also believed that the earth was much MUCH hotter (an average of 60 C) at one point, before one of these ice ages.
Of course the source I had (wikipedia :) only went back 500 million years. So the early earth was probably more extreme.
I wish could site my source... I saw it on a documentary. At that point in history (again, according to this source) there were no ice caps. The only reason the earth cooled was because the few bacteria that existed at the time made their energy through metabolizing methane, which is what was making the earth so hot. After the bacteria ate all the methane, the earth cooled to an ice age.
I am guessing this occurred VERY early in the history of living creatures (so about a billion years ago or so). But again, I can't recall where I got my information... if I had to guess, I was watching something on the science channel.

Well... I hope you enjoy ridiculously hard final bosses, because mine is quite a handful! I thought I'd do fine at level 70 with ribbons and running shoes equipped, but nope! The final boss definitely requires a very well thought out setup to beat.

you really shouldn't mark a game as completed unless the download is up, otherwise you get people excited over nothing.
Considering I've been following this game for years (not as long as some, but long enough) and I am still in one piece, I think everyone else should be able to hold it together a bit longer.
