I was in some sort of preschool, but I was my actual age at the time (about 20 or so..) and everyone was also about my age as well. No one really seemed to notice that a group of 20-year-olds shouldn't be in there. But, other than our mannerisms and relatively adult speech, everything seemed like a normal day at preschool: fingerpainting, macaroni art, reading the alphabet, etc. Also, all the tables seemed to be at eye level as well. The most notable thing about the dream though was one awkward kid; everyone seemed to make fun of him and give him a hard time. I felt bad for him mostly because he really wasn't all that bad, but I didn't really do much to stop the teasing. Late in the day, he kind of disappeared. No one saw him leave or knew where he might be. I suddenly lost it and told everyone off for being such a jerk to him. I told them that the only way to start making things right was to find him and apologize. We all went outside and started calling his name. Now here's where things got vivid and also fuzzy (weird sounding, but the best way I can describe it; almost like tunnel vision). It was gorgeously dusky outside. Everything seemed to look a goldish-yellow. There was a small clearing around the school and beyond that was a vast wheat field. Behind the school, was a steep sloped hill where the wheat was surrounded by forest (kind of like a power line going through the woods). I kept calling the kid's name (I honestly don't remember what it was) and started walking down the hill. I suddenly saw a dark figure moving amongst the tall wheat, and I realized it was the kid we were looking for. I called out to him, but he didn't seem to hear me. I realized he was walking toward the school behind me, but not really at me. His movements were jerky and erratic, and he seemed to shift from place to place instantaneously. I slowed my pace toward him as I noticed that he seemed different; not just his movements, but his appearance as well. His hair was longer in the front and covered his eyes, he looked darker, as if the golden glow of the wheat was being absorbed by his presence, and he seemed to be hunched forward, like his arms were to heavy for him to hold up. Then I noticed a low growl, menacing and terrifying. I finally stopped and stammered his name one last time. Without any warning the growling grew into a roar as he lunged forward PAST me to my left...

And then I woke up sweating profusely. It took me a few minutes to realize where I was, and to convince myself that it was only a dream.
