Unless there is a way for the assassin to play around them if you mention it, you probably should. The Assassin has better targets right now anyway, so I don't think it will put you at great risk.

Crossing out Dudesoft, I think Sooz and Suna are our best targets right now. Just going by intuition, I feel like Ebeth is probably town.

If we do not get a counterclaim, it is safe to assume that Caved is the Tenkai star. If Unity jails Caved tonight, that will give us at least 2 lynches before the death of our Tenkai, and hopefully a night-kill as well if I can find my gun.
Of the people who are left, the one's currently claiming confirmed town's are:
Cave (Tenkai Star)
Gourd (Mason)
Me (Mason)
Unity (Jailor)
Wes (I think? He roleclaimed doctor right? I think I missed the exact post)
MajoricanKing (because of a succesful roleblock by Jeroen, while the Assassin's kill was still successful)
That leaves us with the targets:
Ebeth, Dudesoft, Sooz, Suna.
If I'm able to retrieve my gun, we could kill 3 out of these 4, and our chances would be looking pretty good. There's always the chance that one of the confirmed towns is the Assassin, or that Cavedog is just a townie roleclaiming to screw his team over. In both of those cases, things look pretty bad.
Unity's and Wes' abilities could be combined with the assassin role, so we need to consider that possibility. My reads on them have been mostly town, though. Gourd, Majoracan and Cave (if there is no counter claim) are a lot more certain.

I'm still having a hard time buying his claim, as he could be the assassin, and thus could be bulletproof, which allowed him to catch the bullet, and the assassin probably has some sort of info-gathering ability. What does everyone else think?
It all depends on whether on not we'll receive a counter-claim. The lore behind Pianotm's death reveals that the assassin already has the identity of the Tenkai anyway. So our Tenkai can 'safely' counter-claim, and it won't hurt town.
When/If we get a counterclaim, that will put us in an incredibly difficult position. There is, after all, the possibility that Caved is the Tenkai, and the counter-claimer is the assassin, or the other other way around.

In the case that the assassin doesn't know the Tenkai's identity yet, and actually just went after Pianoman last night, that would be a pretty bad move though.

Ah. So. It definitely WAS the assassin who tried to kill the Tenkai and got Piano instead. Right.
So the assassin DOES know who the Tenkai is now. I would say we should know who the Tenkai is so Platinum doesn't accidentally shoot him/her but obviously that isn't happening since Plat can't kill anyone. I can't think of any other benefits for the Tenkai revealing, either, so I guess you should still stay quiet, Tenkai.
...Hm. I don't know what to do now.
We can be very optimistic and hope that the Assassin targetted piano for whatever reason, and not the Tenkai.
Unity is a jailor, right? Which means that her ability also protects the people she targets. If we are to assume the assissin knows the identity of the Tenkai, and that Unity's roleclaim is genuine, it would buy us another night to have the Tenkai roleclaim and then have Unity protect him/her.

2.PlatinumAshes, what is your role, beyond having gun. Gourd says gun is not part of your role. which is weird. i dont think anyone else got items for no reason, which leads me to next question
The gun is a part of my role, and I came equipped with it from the beginning of the game. What I think gourd meant, is that my character doesn't actually own a gun in the real story.

Also, this move may seem risky but it may actually be helpful. Perhaps the Tenkai Star should tell us that they are the Tenkai Star? That way, our Vigilante Platinum won't accidentally kill him. BUT that may not be the greatest idea. There is a possibility said Vig accidentally targeted the Tenkai and Piano protected, meaning the assassin still wouldn't know who the Tenkai Star is. HOWEVER, if that's true then why didn't the assassin kill anyone last night (only one person died, after all)? This must mean teh assassin did indeed target the Tenkai last night and does indeed know who the Tenkai is now, and it must also mean that Platinum didn't kill anyone. However, we should wait for Platinum to confirm this.
No, the PM I got yesterday was pretty clear about my kill failing, so it must have been the assassin who killed piano.
It's a little weird that I'm not dead. I honestly am confused that the assassin chose to kill Piano instead of me or gourd

However, this night the same thing happened, and Liberty gave me a PM pretty much saying 'you still don't have your gun, lol. So no nightkills tonight'.
I might have been transformed into a vanilla, or Lib's is playing some weird game with me, idk.
