those are kaduki sprites, though the the creator has taken down their work and requests that people don't distribute them anymore.

Of course it's easy to find secondary distributions despite the creator's wishes.

I remember when I tried to reverse-engineer kaduki sprites and just gave up because of the amount of wasted colour

they're very pretty, but like with a lot of stuff from the VX days there's no real palette to speak of, just a bunch of stuff blended together
