I'm Mark, and I'm all about Lynchian-surrealist horror with Lovecraftian eldtritch abominations sprinkled on top, all served with a nice hot dose of build-your-own-follow-the-breadcrumbs-your-way kinda stories. My game might be pretty good, if I ever finish it.

Haven't for a long time unfortunately. Still something I'd like to come back to though, so I wouldn't write it off completely just yet.

Demo progress is unfortunately only going as far as a Panera Bread paid wallet can take me every month for the artwork, which isn't much on top of everything else. I'm done with the exterior work for the farmhouse and now we're onto the inside, where the majority of the increasingly surreal demo will take place.
Expect it to be something akin to the lovechild of Twin Peaks' black lodge, PT and Lone Survivor. It's gonna be messed up as all hell.

Thanks! It's getting there. I've been doing a lot of condensing recently, which is really helping me with making progress and not feeling like this is a huge, massive, impossible idea, haha. So yeah, there are some new features involved that I'm gonna show off soon, watch this space!

This looks very amazing. I might say, Hi I am Matthew from Vector 1 Games a game development company in South Africa. This is very impressive the parallax mapping is placed so well. The story line is something different, not much of a cliche I like it may I ask where you got these tile-sets. Reason being I would love to use them in our future games. I have been search high and low on the internet for stuff like these. Again good job may this game bring you joy.

There're tons of modern tiles on the internet.
That being said, ones that best fit with the RM palette (and the ones I'm using extensively in this project) are Celianna's and Lunareas's. Those need to be paid for mind you.

The Vrahl's actually one of the easier fights in the demo to be honest - check out Ronove's review if you wanna see. So unfortunately in future iterations it'll probably get as hard as the good ol' Interceptor, haha.

I think as long as you add modern conveniences or whatnot the mountain, people will get the ideas. So like signs saying where an exit is, signs with tidbits about the mountain (if it's a tourist attraction) etc. And don't forget, when your characters talk, they'll prolly use modern slang or whatnot depending and so people will get the idea I think.
Ooh, good idea! Sign posts and stuff is a nifty trick, I'll probably do something like that.
