You don't have to get it from Amazon to get this price. You can go to Tiger Direct, Micro Center, or whatever other low cost computer supply store might be in your area. Barring that, you can disconnect your sound card and get a USB sound card for as little eight dollars.

I've had this computer for a long time; I suppose it's only a matter of time before other components fail on me...

I can't really leave even if I've not contributed much; but since my computer is a piece of crap that loves to just corrupt audio drivers leaving noway to fix them, I have no choice but to opt out of RM.
