By the time I become a complete pixel the damage has already been done. I'd at least like to be some semblance of a former human.

We're all giant sprites, and we have pixels running through out bodies.
Well, since the world and all of its material fundamentally are pixels, we're all technically pixels as well...but I see that mah boi, Infection, preached the message before me. Well...I guess it's time for me to build a time traveling machine and change that.
I've been spriting for 2 years, and I'm still perfectly fine. So, I think you're quite safe from the pixel-bug infection.

Just a word of advice. Once the pixel bug bites, it bites hard. You don't get infected, just addicted. 3D-models date and age, but good pixel art lasts forever. ^^
