I'm trying Anvil Studio atm. Jazzware also looks nice so I'll give it a try later. I still haven't looked at Famitracker yet. Thanks for the suggestions!

Lurking Malice: I really enjoyed this piece, but it's hard for me to think of a case where this would suit a scene of “lurking malice.†Lurking malice seems like it should be more ambient, less upbeat.
post=111955This tune actually wasn't meant for any specific scene. All that ChaosProductions told me was that he wanted a thematic song with lots of highs and lows that would fit inside and outside of battle. My interpretation of what the songs story ended up being as follows.
Fate is to be Disgarded: Very intense and interesting one, and I liked it a lot. Sounds like it was tailored to a very specific series of events. First, it seems like a judgment has been declared and then marching orders have been given. I would very much like to see what this was set for.
0-40 = Set up. Something's gonna go down.
40-1:06 = The inside of a castle throne room. The newly wed prince and princess stand bowing to the roaring crowd.
1:06-1:31 = The evil witch of night enters and declares her campaign against the new King and Queen.
1:31-1:51 = The new King and the Evil Witch battle it out
1:51-2:01 = In slow motion, the King shoves his sword through the chest of the Evil Witch
2:01-2:14 = The witch falls, the King stands up, and the crowd once again goes wild
2:14-2:47 = The witch's army, not knowing the location of their master, ravage the countryside
2:47-3:04 = The Kingdom falls into ruin and the Queen dies of illness.
3:04-End = The King, his Kingdom ruined, lays down and dies.
