I'm considering remastering a couple of the older cinematics, particular FS02 and FS03 to better fit in line with the level of quality, clarity and such seen in newer ones. In fact, i would likely just make FS02 a simple in-game picture event as it isn't really complex enough to require a fully pre-rendered cutscene. meaning I could put more concentration onto FS03, and then switch FS01Sun into FS02.

To give an example of the kind of upgrade this could be, here's a couple before and afters of cinematics I've already finished.

And perhaps a much better example. This is a huge upgrade in animation, sound design and all. The clarity of whats going on is also much better.

I don't really dislike anyone, well- not who is still active. Most of the people who had it out for me were last seen on the site active over seven years ago.

Having it out for me doesn't mean just sassing me or being annoyed that I exist. I'm talking people who borderline obsessed over me to a degree it actively brought harm to them, their social groups and all because of said obsession. I'm glad to say there's only two people I can think of who went to this length and only one I recall the name of.

Neither of them are regular here anymore. There's a LOT of people who might find me annoying or obnoxious, but that's not a concern nor is it really my problem or business~

On topic and for something more mundane; Man, it's been really nice to discover I can just buy a 16 dollar bag of frozen takoyaki and get some ingredients from an asian grocer and make Takoyaki for myself. It's instead of four-5 dollars a meal, less than two.

For those curious, you'll need Bonito flakes/shavings, japanese mayonnaise, takoyaki sauce and seaweed powder. Buying all four of these is less than 12 dollars and each will last at least a fortnight, with the powder and flakes typically lasting a month or more. The takoyaki is a bit pricier, for me its 16-18 dollars for a bag, but that easily lasts a week even if having four balls per meal for every meal. I have two meals a day so 18 / 7 * 2 ends up at about a dollar and some small change per serve.

I don't have Takoyaki every meal either. It's not only incredibly affordable (basically a quarter of what you'd spend eating out) but really yummy and easy to make.

I'm thinking about how after having said that whimsical bit above, I feel it is prudent I acquire some Ham of Feasting now, of which to consume.

But I'll probably just go to sleep and forget about it, hah.

I know you have your grudges and reasons for them, but it's probably in your best interest in the long run to focus on doing good in where you can be rather than continue to complain about those places. So you can't claim any credit for what we have here (the 2026 RMN "revival"); fine, just try to set a good example here and don't do some of the things you did back in the day. I probably sound like a broken record saying all that, but at least I'm trying to do some good somewhere.

You needn't worry, I'm mostly here to vibe. I already apologized and agreed that cluttering up the place with my incessant whining isn't going to be good for anything~

Why complain about things like that when I can boast about how little I got done in the last three years instead? Now that's content! Premium RMN quality procrastination proclamation.

I think I ban-evaded like three times, each to make a point. I'd be VERY surprised if I was allowed back in. My first time back was to cut-down the unseemly rumors of plagiarism one of the people there was trying to spread.

The second was me inquiring about a very comical wiki edit someone did to try and get my goat, but that turned out to be unrelated to RMN, which I suspected, but figured I would check anyway. Also it might have proved amusing for some of the members and I am mostly all about entertaining people.

The third was a weird crashout I had about the invoker of the first instance.

None of them were remotely justified, and I began treating the RMN discord as largely a different entity from the forum, which I think many do.

Also LockeZ nor Corfaisus are there anymore which to be honest was half the draw.
