The official English 2k3 version is out!
Is it me or are there fewer options under Conditional Branch in the Steam release? I was trying to do 8 directional movement for a very short novelty Christmas gift I'm working on, thought I was misremembering how to do it, looked at several tutorials and no, I'm not misremembering, the "if key x pressed" option just plain isn't there.

JavaScript is one hell of a move and will no doubt prove to be a popular one. I was concerned when I saw the mapping in the videos because I genuinely couldn't tell if it was 2k3/XP lower layer upper layer or VX Ace's "I'm going to guess what you're trying to do, get it completely wrong, then have the cheek to claim I'm intuitive!"

I agree they should go back to XP's mapping. VX Ace's semi-predictive thing is just annoying to work with.
Mobile support is a big thing, as is support for HD resolutions. I am hoping it'll upscale sharp square pixels because I do like to keep the old school SNES era feel.

Fuck Christmas
I was quite bored of Christmas until recently. I was in the "over commercialised buy a bunch of stuff for a bunch of people you rarely see and maybe have some food together" crowd. Now my daughter's excited for Christmas Day and it's the weirdest energy ever. It's fun and exciting again.

UV Unwrap Garbled, 3D Model Help
So, admittedly I've gotten rusty at 3D modelling since graduating uni. I'm currently working on a 3D model of a sci-fi jet fighter, I've come to do the UV unwrap but the map is non-sensical even though I'm positive I've done the seams correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated, screenshots below:

So apparently I'm mental. I've decided to set myself a weekly art challenge whereby I depict the most bizarre, ridiculous and/or hilarious thing I've heard that particular week. Here's week one, based on a work colleague saying “I want to get more views on my dating profile. Everyone around here’s horsey, maybe I should upload a picture of myself riding a dinosaur so more girls will like me. It’s basically the same thing right?”
