An amateur game developer/spriter at 19 years of age. I'm interested primarily in rpgs, my favorite being the Dot Hack series, but I'm also fond of many others including Final Fantasy, Legend of Dragoon, Star Ocean, Dark Cloud, Shadow Hearts, Breath of Fire, etc.
The game engine I use is mostly VX Ace, though if I feel like it I can switch to another one at any time, as I happen to adore the projects made in 2k-XP, as well as VX which I also use. Below is a list of my projects I'm currently working on, will be working on in the future.
Current Projects:
Tears of Samsara (Current)
ToS: Shards of Xielba (Hiatus)
Synthetic Odyssey (Team, Hiatus)
Butterfly Chronicles: Palemoon (Hiatus)
Cancelled Projects:
NightinGale (Wanted to test rm2k's waters, but gave up on it.)
They Come (Mess made in a week for an event that was scrapped half-way through.)
Tester For:
Lithia (Developer recently returned, though this is still cancelled)
A Reason for Magic: Santoo Rinba (Cancelled; turned into Moon & Star Preludes)
Chaos Divine
The Grandest of Dreamers (Developer's gone missing)
Future Projects:
Stream: Spirits Within
Final Fantasy Tactics: Blood Solstice (A re-balancing hack for Final Fantasy Tactics with a lot of palette swaps)
Pokemon Soluna

author=bigtimeThe red floating(yeah, it floats up, and down lol) sphere, is more or less just a portable merchant. However, it could also become a shady cloaked person(welcome..stranger, hehehehe..), depending on your chosen path. :3 (Some items are also only available at these merchants.)
Whats that red ball for?
Resting_Area.png
author=bigtimeOh man, I can't wait to start parallaxing Novran's prison~ *u*author=OblicSame here. No pressure Sana.author=CazThis is a very true point. I am now really excited to play this game!
Well hey, it just makes you question how bloody and gore-covered the rest of that world must be! This could be a pretty tame scene for all we know.

author=Noel_KreissI wouldn't know, lol..go right ahead. :x
Me likeys the crystals. ;P <-- *licking them* Say: are they edible?

author=MechaCraftexDon't make that an excuse, as even as bare as say a desert for example is, it isn't bare like this. Really, if you're unsure of what to put on maps, try not to make them so large, and shrink the maps, to get rid of unnecessary space~ :) (Even if it's supposed to be Heaven..which I honestly don't feel it from this screenie, it's empty/too large, and a lot of people get turned off by maps, if they're like that.)
It's not supposed to have much things inside of it. The story goes to a land named Heavan, and it's similar to a cloud land.

author=Noel_KreissWill there also be Zidane, Lightning, and Balthier, and can you fight against them? :o (My 3 fav characters, lol)author=wildwesWith the new plot, she won't appaer as a playable character, but maybe I'll include her in the battle arena I'm planning to have.
Yuna one of my favorite FF characters YAAAAAAY!

author=wildwesThe mist in this game'll work sort of like that in that it damages, but also be much worse. Not only does it slowly eat away at most character's memories(some are immune to its effects), but they'll also become broken should it fall below a certain point. Never let your characters break while in the mist, since it has some pretty drastic effects: First, broken characters will be removed from your party, and you can't get them back at all until you gain access to the Lireticos Cathedral, and have their memories restored. Second, the restored characters, will be reverted back to level one with their base stats; all stat points will be revoked, however their skills, equipment, and any stat boosts used will be intact.author=SanaYeah, it does do that.
Did the miasma in that game hurt your characters if you stepped outside the portable crystal thing's circle? (Haven't played it in years..lol)
It's also a wise choice to only send into areas where there's a lot of mist, party members that are immune(you can leave behind the other party members at a pub/brotherhood). It'd make it more difficult, since there really aren't many characters that are immune to it, so it's sort of like taking a gamble.
Furthermore, the enemies infesting those areas, will be very powerful, so it's best to not enter them unless you've prepared~ :D

A faster way to do it, is if you have photoshop, select a small portion of that grass tile, and click on the define pattern option in the edit tab. Then make a new layer, go into blending options, select the pattern overlay, and choose the grass pattern you just put in. Then just brush the grass on using whatever brush size is best. :3

(Haven't played it in years..lol)author=SanaWill it be like the miasma from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles?author=Noel_KreissFFIX just happens to be my favorite of the bunch, lol but yeah the mist is rather important. :3
Will that 'mist' be of the similar story importance as in Final Fantasy IX (I hope you played that game 'cause it's effin' awesome!)?
(I've never played FFIX and I feel like asking unnecessary questions)
