SANA'S PROFILE

An amateur game developer/spriter at 19 years of age. I'm interested primarily in rpgs, my favorite being the Dot Hack series, but I'm also fond of many others including Final Fantasy, Legend of Dragoon, Star Ocean, Dark Cloud, Shadow Hearts, Breath of Fire, etc.
The game engine I use is mostly VX Ace, though if I feel like it I can switch to another one at any time, as I happen to adore the projects made in 2k-XP, as well as VX which I also use. Below is a list of my projects I'm currently working on, will be working on in the future.
Current Projects:
Tears of Samsara (Current)
ToS: Shards of Xielba (Hiatus)
Synthetic Odyssey (Team, Hiatus)
Butterfly Chronicles: Palemoon (Hiatus)
Cancelled Projects:
NightinGale (Wanted to test rm2k's waters, but gave up on it.)
They Come (Mess made in a week for an event that was scrapped half-way through.)
Tester For:
Lithia (Developer recently returned, though this is still cancelled)
A Reason for Magic: Santoo Rinba (Cancelled; turned into Moon & Star Preludes)
Chaos Divine
The Grandest of Dreamers (Developer's gone missing)
Future Projects:
Stream: Spirits Within
Final Fantasy Tactics: Blood Solstice (A re-balancing hack for Final Fantasy Tactics with a lot of palette swaps)
Pokemon Soluna

author=bigtimeYeah, they're unexplored since the mist is really thick in those areas, that were people to get close enough, they'd turn into Vri'qua like Xear. The mist causes severe amnesia, and surrounds the entire world, just that it's less abundant in city type areas, so people choose not to leave the cities very often. :3
??? areas a mystery or not yet decidided on a name?

author=bigtimeBeware of psychotic, superhuman hillbillies, and epic laughing clown faced dolls in tuxedos riding tricycles! o;
Looks beautiful. Love the description to stay away. Makes me think wrong turn or saw is waiting in there.

author=DameOfSpaceWell, being sucky at parallax mapping isn't necessarily a bad thing..at all really, I mean graphics-wise it can improve the appeal of maps by leaps and bounds, but if you're someone as great with tile mapping as say Indra, or Liberty for example, then parallax mapping really doesn't matter~
I would try parallax, but everytime I do it ends up getting screwed up and everthing looks like crap. :p
Also, remember not to make maps too large or too empty, as even if you're parallax mapping, it can still be a real..hassle. This map's 35x25, and I still think it's quite large. xD

author=Noel_KreissHis previous hair style..was bugging me rofl, so after many, "many" hue/sat/bright changes, I finally matched his previous hair color, only better~ Can't say for sure if you'll find anything in the cabin at all honestly, but exploration does count..also I forgot to add a certain something..oh well. :p
I see some awesome clouds! Also, Xear is looking so effin' adorable in this screenshot!
Is some child-eating witch living there? No, bad idea; if that was true then the house would be made of cakes.
I'm not sure about the varying colours of trees: for me it doesn't help define the area very well.
As for the tree colors..welp I'd be lying if I said I didn't try imitating Blood Shard(which used the same tree only different colors for the leaves), nyahaha, but it's better than having every tree the same color, I suppose. :x
author=DameOfSpaceWoo~ 'Dem Online Forces improvements! ;3
I like a lot of ur maps Sana. I've been trying to work on my mapping and I think I'm getting better~
