SANA'S PROFILE

An amateur game developer/spriter at 19 years of age. I'm interested primarily in rpgs, my favorite being the Dot Hack series, but I'm also fond of many others including Final Fantasy, Legend of Dragoon, Star Ocean, Dark Cloud, Shadow Hearts, Breath of Fire, etc.

The game engine I use is mostly VX Ace, though if I feel like it I can switch to another one at any time, as I happen to adore the projects made in 2k-XP, as well as VX which I also use. Below is a list of my projects I'm currently working on, will be working on in the future.

Current Projects:
Tears of Samsara (Current)
ToS: Shards of Xielba (Hiatus)
Synthetic Odyssey (Team, Hiatus)
Butterfly Chronicles: Palemoon (Hiatus)

Cancelled Projects:
NightinGale (Wanted to test rm2k's waters, but gave up on it.)
They Come (Mess made in a week for an event that was scrapped half-way through.)

Tester For:
Lithia (Developer recently returned, though this is still cancelled)
A Reason for Magic: Santoo Rinba (Cancelled; turned into Moon & Star Preludes)
Chaos Divine
The Grandest of Dreamers (Developer's gone missing)

Future Projects:
Stream: Spirits Within
Final Fantasy Tactics: Blood Solstice (A re-balancing hack for Final Fantasy Tactics with a lot of palette swaps)
Pokemon Soluna
Tears of Samsara
What would you do to save those that you love?

Yeah I think I have to go with the growing consensus here, whilst I like the different feel of the names, I think they'd be confusing as you go on. They're not intuitive to an English-speaking base. If you used something like Latin perhaps you could get away with it simply because they'd be recognisable yet still different Vires for Might/power, Armatura for Armour, Magica - that one is self evident, Reluctor for Resist, Celer for Dexterity (though it's closer to speed, celerity) etc.

It's that or as Noel_Kreiss suggested, really obvious icons next to the names that enable you to work out just what they are, and I would suggest those icons not just appear on the status page, but also on the Equip page. So you can decide to sacrifice a bit of speed for better protection for your tank, but you want to keep magic and speed for your healer so he/she/it can keep you healthy before the bad guy lands another one of the those killer blasts.
Got it, updated the image, along with different icons. :)

Basically I took a flat rock tile from one of Hanzo's tilesets, and put it on top of the moving water(the lowest one used for..like a fishing spot) in RTP's Other2. Then I just lowered the opacity of the bottom of the rock~ :3

I personally far prefer obvious names, for readability sake.
Welp, for now I'm keeping the stat names like this, "but" if enough people are against, I'll just revert to what I had before, and keep the weird names restricted to the weapons/monsters. :)

I've never played the complete collection, so I wouldn't know..his hair I did make myself though, through editing, and whatnot. (Ugh..the time I spent on it.. o;)

Giving the more obvious icons would be enough, like sword, shield, shoe, and stuff.
Yeah, that ought to work too~ ^o^

Why you chose so weird names for parameters? It's not something that is clear to everyone.
Yup, that's what I was going for, lol. The stats are actually talked about in-game as part of a little picture tutorial, but to sum it up most things in this game are taken from Sanskrit; Atka - Armor, Kratu - Might. I'll add that into the description though, as it can be quite confusing. :x

I saw on some other site this sprite in Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection style: what happened to that?
I..I'm not sure. :x

Probably because it's very good, haha~ Personally, I try to never add so many flowers, as I like to go overboard when brushing in the grass or dirt(I use Photoshop for this), and adding other little things, but that's just me. Keep making your maps like this, it's great~ :)
