An amateur game developer/spriter at 19 years of age. I'm interested primarily in rpgs, my favorite being the Dot Hack series, but I'm also fond of many others including Final Fantasy, Legend of Dragoon, Star Ocean, Dark Cloud, Shadow Hearts, Breath of Fire, etc.
The game engine I use is mostly VX Ace, though if I feel like it I can switch to another one at any time, as I happen to adore the projects made in 2k-XP, as well as VX which I also use. Below is a list of my projects I'm currently working on, will be working on in the future.
Current Projects:
Tears of Samsara (Current)
ToS: Shards of Xielba (Hiatus)
Synthetic Odyssey (Team, Hiatus)
Butterfly Chronicles: Palemoon (Hiatus)
Cancelled Projects:
NightinGale (Wanted to test rm2k's waters, but gave up on it.)
They Come (Mess made in a week for an event that was scrapped half-way through.)
Tester For:
Lithia (Developer recently returned, though this is still cancelled)
A Reason for Magic: Santoo Rinba (Cancelled; turned into Moon & Star Preludes)
Chaos Divine
The Grandest of Dreamers (Developer's gone missing)
Future Projects:
Stream: Spirits Within
Final Fantasy Tactics: Blood Solstice (A re-balancing hack for Final Fantasy Tactics with a lot of palette swaps)

author=bigtimeI can't say..for sure yet if there'll be any romance between the cast, but Xear, and Eson do form a rather close bond, later on.
I wanna see how the memory unfolds for Xear. Also why hes so calm and collected. Eson being a sole survivor for her race seems intrigueing to. Any possible love connections?
author=Clareain_ChristopherHmm..I think the white characters are Xear, Joan, Karme, Drake, and Zaro. Misaire's "really" pale as he's a vampire. The black characters are Maiki'e, and Vyra. Eson's pale blue, and Gearbit..well, he's a metalic robot with a dark orange flame on his black~ :3
So I'm working on some art for this game, and was wondering if all the humans were going to be white.
It's a very generic pigmentation in media.

but there is such a HUGE lack of sprites that aren't white
i would love different race characters, but all i can find are Asian to a certain extent and white. :)

author=Noel_KreissThe guy wakes up, unsure of who he is, or where he is; complete bs memory, walks into a village up in flames, and sees a poor girl cornered by soldiers so he decides to help her. He doesn't necessarily need a reason~ :x (Brainless is a bit much, but the guy has amnesia, so..)
maybe he'll be a worth protagonist for me after playing it as for now he sounds pretty much brainless.

author=Noel_KreissHaha, yeah it's sort of like..Shadow Hearts where the main character "has" to protect Alice (just this is without the telepathic voice). Honestly, the guy's pretty inverted, so he doesn't say much of what's on his mind, or why he does most of the things he does. Weird's actually a very good word to describe him~ :3
I mean, Xear doesn't even know why he protects her, he just does it. Weirdo. o_O
