If you want a "nerdy" sounding last name, go with something Jewish. Like Bernstein or Roth. Or even a first name like Aaron or Bernard will work too as a surname, but then you'll need to come up with a suitable first name too.

Am I the only one who thinks her mouth and nose aren't centered properly?
They seem too far over to the left giving her face a lopsided look, and it can't be because she has her head turned to the side, since her eyes are staring straight ahead.

Great design for the character overall though.
