A New Prodject With Nameing problems!
Ok i'm started a new prodject and i dont have a good name for it yet.... The game doent really have a story it more turns to the Rpg elements of the game.
So far it has a pretty free form system like " Heros Realm" you Pick the name and class of your party including the main charater. ( i have a feeling the tree maps are going to kill me >:( ). There are 10 starting classes and each class levels up once they hit a certain level. Im have a lil problem with the name entry If anyone would like to help with that...
And far as the World of the game ... it takes place in a tower....A HUGE tower. I wanted to break from the rut of most rpg with the "EPIC" story, with the traveling and Fecth quests.(Ugh the fecth quests >:( ) Im going for more of a Level thing were each floor is a new stage, that incerce with diffclety with each level Most likely 20 to 30 in all not includeing the Final boss.
I will possable will need some help with the puzzles and such. so if you want to help

Games CAN be too long.
That's not to say that games can't be good and have a whole lot of content, but dragging out a game for play time is NOT a good idea in my opinion. It just wastes a lot of time between the plot and achievements that drive the player to play.
Brevity is wit.
Though, if your filler content is loads of fun, who am I to object?
I'm not sure about switching characters out on the fly. I can be done fairly easily outside of battle with memorize location script and teleporting to a common map where you can reorganize your party, but I don't know how you'd manage it inside of combat.
That would be cool if i could do that that way tho but either way i need some way to change out the party. and steal You know anything about it?

I about 15% done with my game one Rpg maker 2k3 :D. I wanted to put about 5 or 6 chareters in to the game but the problem is that i have no clue how to do that. if any who read this have played tales of syphonia thats what kinda system i wanted. TO be able to swicth members out and in on the fly. ;D
ALSO i have been looking around for a steal tutoural but most of the just confuse me. counld some one make me look dumb and show me how its done? ???
And finally Just a genalral question...Can a game be too long? an Rpg maker game ... because im kinda draging it out i think but i like it uhh i thinking about posting a demo but i no clue as how to put the game for the demo Any suggetions?

I don't understand what you mean here, are you saying you have charasets that need battlecharasets to go with them?
