The problem with Commercial games is that the way the form is set up you can't differentiate between Commercial and non-commercial.
I mean we've already amply seen that a lot of people don't give a shit whether a thing belongs in an award category in the first place, so maybe force LBR to clean up the nominations once in a while and make sure that, say, Po-Faced Final Fantasy Fangame didn't get put into Trippiest or Punniest because people decided to just CLICK ALL THE CATEGORIES MY FAVORITE GAME IS THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA!!!!

I assumed it was for ease of allowing/disallowing nominations, but that's probably fairly easy to fix. I assume. I am bad with computers.

Even stuff such as "Make a cover about your game event" or "Make a trailer about your game event" could help the developers getting out there more and making their games stand out more.
I dig this idea. It's really hard as a dev to know how to advertise your game here, since you're not allowed to make posts or anything, so it's all based on game page, which is super separate from the community area.
IDK if it'll attract a lot of new devs that didn't interact before, but it sounds fun at least! :B
What about a "1st position, 2nd position, 3rd position" kinda thing for Misaos? So that more games gets visibility, not just the winner.

I'm personally not super happy about including commercial games for regular misao categories for reasons that are not entirely objective or rational, but I'll agree that a "best commercial game" would be a nice inclusion!
Especially these days, when it's hard as hell to get any kind of attention in the commercial indie sphere.
