I agree with Ghost's post. That's worth at least eighty credibilities.
E: Their graphical team is pretty serious. Deviant arts, pixeljoints, and general stories line up. "Inspired" art or not, they've clearly put out a lot of work on this project.
Their allotment for kick starter funds seems really poorly drawn out. If they said nothing but "more art" I'd be good, though I find it odd they chose to mention Gamepad support as a goal over talking about online infrastructure.
The game play, from what I've seen, is broken on a fundamental level. While not included as a goal on the page, improving their game play flow and design should be a higher priority. Haven't seen anyone give any praise for it, which is pretty bad considering the indie scene is the one that constantly talks about "fun game play is more important than graphics". We'll see if their artists can carry the weight of this one.
E: It's worth noting I haven't played it. Just a bit of preliminary investigation via blogs, dAs, and google.

While there are a wealth of twelve year olds on the internet, "maybe this is one of them" isn't the first thought to cross my mind when someone mentions how attractive my younger sister is.
Fair enough when that's included. Still something I wouldn't say on a public stage.

I didn't know if it was an apron, but yeah that looks good. It provides some simple color difference on her without being complex. The vine thingies look like bracelets, so I called them that. xD You can toy with those, though I think only having one vine armlet would work better.
Petals are neat. I just think the yellow of the dress is too intense. I don't know my flowers very well, but see if you can nudge closer to these colors.

Who invented coconut eggnog? Did smebody just go "Hey, this this is strange enough, let's add something more random to it"?
Coconut Eggnog originated in Puerto Rico, or at least enjoys the most popularity there. Can't quite find out who invented it in particular, but Puerto Ricans enjoy adding coconut as an ingredient to many desserts. Coquito is a perfect example of this.

While it is a complementary color, the orange-yellow does have a bit too much contrast to it. Maybe tone down the intensity a bit? See if you can move the red closer to yellow without making it pink, if that makes any sense. Do like the white spot in the middle plus the buttons.
See if only having one armlet works over having two armlets + bracelets.

Your world seems to be filled with fantastical creatures abound. Not sure how uncommon they are, but they're there. It's not too much to assume she can just go to a shopping place and point out the kind of clothing she likes. You can also say she gets enough energy with just her hair or something. It's magic. In other words, no matter what design you go with, you don't really have to qualify your decision to dress her like that.
I think her base design is fine for now. Try drafting up some clothing outlines.

Ah, yes, the portrait is beautiful. Good work on that. This goes for pretty much every profile you've made in the images section.
THE Captain's Log #18 - This is probably going to be uninteresting, but this is a dev blog
Noticed the "Normal" status under her bar is gone in the new version. Do you have things appear only when she has a status effect? Also, I agree with Clareain. The dark overlay in the initial shot really helps the user's eyes focus on the menu screen. Though it looks less like an overlay and more like the area you were in was simply dark... perhaps you could add that darkening as a feature?
