STOMPHOOF'S PROFILE

Aspiring Game Designer, and game reviewer!

I have a love of old school SNES / PS1 styled RPGs. Alot of the newer stuff coming out on consoles lately has left me feeling...bored. Things like FF13 and the like are just too obsessed with looks to give me a solid interesting story with amazing characters.

So, I hope to do 2 things while I am here.
1) Create a few fun games
2) Review excellent games and get more people to try them!

So, ther eyou have it :D

VX Tutorials: Any Good "Starter" Ones out there?

Ummm how does these scripts work, exactly? *is confused by the huge amount of options*

VX Tutorials: Any Good "Starter" Ones out there?

The pockthouse wiki that was hosting it was taken down. Yanfly hasn't put it back up anywhere else (and isn't sure if he will put it up again or not).

I've been chatting with him sporadically, trying to convince him to host it on our servers.

Oh. Well then.

I was hoping to find a side view battle system personally simply because I like that more then the Dragon Quest style.

Also Ferris95: Thanks I had seen those. That should help get me started if I can't find anything else.

If you want a "general tutorial" the only thing I can suggest IS puttering around and reading the help files. Help files are helpful. I would also nab yourself a copy of Yanfly Engine Melody.

What the devil is "Yanfly Engine Meolody"?

What are you thinking about right now?

Planning on going back to school for programming thanks to losing my job >.>

Hopefully I can get a scholorship from the assitance program my state has.

VX Tutorials: Any Good "Starter" Ones out there?

So I got a copy of VX for a gift, and now I am going to start puttering around in it. I am trying to find a good solid "basic starter" tutorial that gives me a good overview of the program as well as some tips on how to use it effectively.

However, I am not having much luck. Alot of the tutorials on this site (no offense guys) are very focused on specific things and while I am sure I will use them when the time comes, I am kinda looking for something a bit broader.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Hello Folks

I have a similar beard, but thats not me. Thats a wrassler :P

Whats your favourite Manga/Comic right now?

Last manga I read was Shaman King.

I really wish I had stopped before the end.

Tales of Chaotica

Looks like a demo is up: About how long is the gameplay right now?

Review scoring: standardization, professionalism, etc.

I am going to be reviewing games on here.

I intend to have them reviewed in a very simple way: Did I like it?

If yes, they will be scored well based on how much I enjoyed em! If not, then I will score them low and explain WHY I didn't enjoy em.

See how simple that is? Straight, honest, to the point!
