Act I Poll

Honestly I would be more for making what's there tighter and more interesting, rather than just removing huge chunks away from what's already there. I think from the point you leave with Seri and Zaqris until you arrive at Barette could be cut down, the town/beach area NPCs could be squeezed in the first area(I suppose that would cause a few problems with an ACTIII scene but seems like something that could be worked around I think?).

Town to town to town works for the more open feel of Acts 2 and 3, but for the first act, it really makes for awkward pacing.

Act II suggestions?

Hmm. You actually got almost everything I was going to say but there are still a few things I'd like to see.


-Just a few more details on Vanquish earlier on would do a lot of good
-Escape skill( I will bother you about this always).
-Rien... is just more trouble than she's worth. Duct tape aint cheap.

Other than that I can't think of anything that isn't already covered.

Act I+ - Testers?

Wow I haven't even finished everything with Act 3 yet, I'm not sure I can keep up ^^;

Suggestions for improving Act I?

Well I'm nearly finished with my review of Acts 1 and 2 and should have it up relatively soon. I'm not sure it will directly tell ways you could improve part 1 but I'm willing to go in depth more after I'm finished writing it. Spoiler: I really really enjoyed it as a whole :o

Hmm, well I try my damnedest to not look at strategy guides for help whenever I can...I mean it's rare that I ever go through a game without using one once, but unlike a lot of my friends it's something I don't tend to rely on. But from the sounds of things, it would be really comforting having this info for the bosses, at least to look to just in case.

I would just like to know about level recommendations perhaps? Or would the enemy's level just be the recommended level?

I'm am pretty surprised that anyone is interested in something that I'm doing, I just hope I don't disappoint when the time comes to show a demo and videos... But seeing as this is more of a developer community than most sites I visit, if I make a major mistake I can count on you guys to point me in the right direction.

What do *you* want to see improved in Legionwood?

Eh? I thought the problem was exposition, not characterization...I happen to like a bit of dialogue ever once in a while that may not pertain to main story or situation at hand as long as it's kept relatively brief. Like showing quirks and mannerisms here and there. It kinda looks like your taking the "character" out of your characters. I'm not sure how you could have character grow only to advance the story unless they're making sudden 90 degree character changes at each major plot point...maybe its just going over my head, i dunno. But i find the less characterization there is, the less i care about them changing or growing. But maybe that's just me.

Sorry if this is making things even more complicated for your project XD. But I honestly dug the little character moments throughout the game, I just wish they where a little....littler .
