i love how colourful and expresive everything here is. From the tiles to the sprites and even the face. Though the font isn't as charismatic as the rest.
The heir colour reminds me of Morrigan, even though the character if different. but that's cool, Morrigan is cool. And it looks like they are in a vineyard, right?
Thank you for the comment! We put a lot of consideration into how we wanted the underworld to feel and look. We also added a lot of plant life to make it a bit unique! Verbena does look a bit like Morrigan—green and purple go well together!

Talk Like a King Review
Hello!
Thank you so much for your review. It's nice to see this little game getting feedback, and we really enjoyed the detailed review.
Regarding the skip feature, SunchildStudios is composed of two people, myself (Genten) and RanchingGal. Neither of us are well versed in programming, and though we've tried out Ren'Py, we found it much more difficult for a simple project than RPG Maker. Unfortunately, since we did not have access to a skip function like in Ren'Py, we tried to utilize skip codes, but ultimately the usefulness of these codes is rendered moot when it comes to endings that require previous dialogue choices to unlock. Smashing through dialogue is certainly tedious, and it is a future concern that we are working on, although no visual novel style games are planned for the future. Unfortunately, RPGMaker currently does not allow saving while text dialogue is open, but we are looking into a way to implement saving for a future update.
The game has a total of 8 endings, three of which give standard one sentence endings. I know the story section is under revision, but we would really appreciate any future feedback regarding the other endings of the game. To be honest, the true goal of the game is a bit different than the one we presented in the summary, so the standard endings are pretty sparse.
The purple and white text is can be a little hard to read though. In a future update we'll probably switch the colors.
All in all, we're both very glad for this review. I'm glad you enjoyed the character art, as that is probably where we had the most fun. This detailed feedback is very appreciative, and we'll look to incorporate it in future small updates to Talk Like a King, as well as future games we plan on releasing.
Thank you, and nice Ace Attorney art : D
